A month later, Belinda woke up in the morning extremely frustrated by the buzzing of her phone.

Damn it! Was this another bill she had to pay? She had been getting a lot of those notifications from various sources and yet she had been putting them off for the longest time.

She was not going to pay them! Not with her money she wasn't!

The idea was simple. Since her lovely and generous son Midas had so much money, what was the problem with him using some of it to pay off the bills for the house and utilities?

The day Belinda had seen the account details after the court ruling was the day everything changed for her. She was wearing a one-piece that she had bought for 1,000 Rands, probably her best outfit, with some shoes she rarely wore and even put on makeup to go see some lawyer she had been called to meet.
