Synopsis
A lowly child beggar, a noble prince, a monster viewed as the enemy of the entire world. If you possess all three identities at the same time, which identity would you choose to help you earn a better ending?
Thales did not have the answer.
He only knew that he came to a different and magnificent world, and he had to face a future that was as difficult to handle as a nightmare. The glorious Empire had already been destroyed for one thousand years, the dying royal family suffered many problems, the legendary sacred battle had plenty of conspiracies, the divided world was in chaos.
But Thales had nothing.
The only thing he had left was an unswerving determination to preserve his own identity, bravery which would allow him to survive in a perilous situation, and a belief that he would never submit to principles he did not believe.
“A King does not gain respect by virtue of his bloodline. The bloodline's glory rests on the deeds of the King.”
Darkness will baptize light. Fire will create true steel. The forbidden prince’s story starts here.

Écrire un avisWebsite: Qidian CN Status: Ongoing with about 460+ chapters Views: 2.48+ million Recommendations: 0.43+ million Rating: 8.6/10 from 1039 readers Author: 无主之剑(lvl 5), only one novel written by him. Discussion/reader's comments: 6626+ Genre: Sword and Magic fantasy I read this novel, the first few chapters and I can say it has a different feel. MC is a transmigrator and there isn't anything particularly special about him but he is trying to survive as a begger using his street smarts and experience along with few other kids while enduring brutal torture but foreshadowing suggests that he will soon turn up in the radar of a few important people for various reasons. The novel has a very bleak and dark tone.
Well... the synopsis definitely grabbed my attention with it being written so epic and tear dropping. I dont usually read kingdom building novels as it was never my cup of tea but I'll give this one a go. Hopefully it isn't like 'True Filler World' where it drags on forever and ever.
I’m not exactly good at writing review, so I translated one of the highest rated Kingdom’s Bloodline reviews at the Chinese Qidian forum. There are some minor *SPOILER* so read it with risks. -------------------------------------- A very interesting book. To simply put, this is a novel about transmigrating to a fantasy world that has its own fictional history at the end of the Medieval Age. I saw a lot of advertisements in the book review area and there was really nothing to discuss. So I want to write something to express my feelings so far. Many people say that the protagonist is too weak, and the development of the story has too much pressure and *******. However, this is indeed the most interesting aspect of this novel. Different from the general concept of webnovels, in which the protagonists basically farm monsters and grind for levels, really straightforward. The protagonist of this book began as a beggar for a living, and cautiously survived under the control of the criminal gang. Then he became the only living prince of the kingdom by chance (perhaps inevitable). Then, just like a person holding the only torch in a black forest. Little by little, collecting the bits and pieces of this world, Under the force of history, or you could say under the mutual political game of several major factions behind the curtain, the protagonist almost always uses language (Yes! The power of words) and cautious analysis to overcome one difficulty after another, of course, the novel also gives the protagonist the life-saving mystic power. This book is interesting for the following points: We can think of this novel built by the author as a long lasted history. Through the eyes of the protagonist, you could hear the content, you could restore the truth behind history little by little. I am very happy that author can use different POVs to provide each piece of information about the world, rather than giving them out directly like a God. Secondly, it is very interesting to hear the history told by different characters of the same period, to see whether it is true or false, because of their view-points, their ideologies, their roles in the age they were in, to provide the protagonist with difference information. And the most interesting aspect, I myself don't expect or hope for the protagonist to become some kind of a powerful person. I care more about the history that was dusted thousands of years ago, the truth that was concealed in the scrolls of history, the political collusion behind it, the humanity, and the spirit of sacredness and nobleness. In addition, the authors try to shape everyone into a unique character. Everyone has to obey the command of someone/or something higher up that they have to accept, but they also have their own little thoughts. Just like in the book when Black Sword was lying in the cold snow with wounds all over his body, but he only longed for a dirty girl in his hometown, who *****ly asked him how the northlanders raise the pig. Just like how the former White Blade general opened a pub after the battle 12 years ago, living like a neighbor's uncle, but always in his heart, he keep a respect for history. Each character is not a black and white image, with his choices and abandonment, with the reasons for his action and the softness of his heart. I like this world, it brings us more truthful feelings. The most gratifying thing is what I can't see it at all: For example, the protagonist being soft when seeing a woman, and then the woman who became his lover turned into a flower vase or had inexplicable surge of strength. For example, the enemy who has no need to be provocative got their face slapped, and then when their grandpas discovered this, continued to be provocative and also got their face slapped, and then.... For example, after talking about some shocking statement (modern thought), the protagonist inexplicably got the appreciation of some big man from the higher up, and then…. For example, what I hate most is that when the protagonist knew that there was a gap in strength between him and the enemy, he still had to make it difficult and forcefully jump forward. Then he said "just bite my teeth, risk my life", and his hidden power erupted or something, so cute. Fortunately, in this book, I saw that no woman with power or strength is a ****** character. She either has the tenaciousness and the inner determination from all the killings on the battlefield, or she seemed harmless but good at scheming with rich experience in political infighting. I saw that every battle is not only about the victory and defeat by strength, but also the political scenery, the inner ambition of the characters, and the resentment and gratitude of the history behind it. All the waves are entangled, all the dots are connected to make you see the fighting and struggle of people. And the author does not say it directly, only simply shows it with the protagonist's experience, what he sees and hears is what you know. --------------------------------------------- Also, I could see that the translated version, while being quite good with grammar and such, has some mistakes with titles, locations, names etc that may cause confusions for the readers, so I will make a list of them below in near future, hoping that Qidian will fix them (or not since this’s the case most of time)
Spoiler de révélationSo have been reading this up to v2 cap 3 and I have to say it's some very mature/dark novel until now, after every chapter you want to know how the MC is going to cope, with the latest sh$t he is thrown into. I have some high hopes for this one ;)
Hey guys, this is the author, masterless sword(无主之剑). This is my webnovel id (yep, as a reader account instead of offical account, I duno why Qidian keep me from contacting the translator group for years so that I have to create an reader account on my own -- and pay the soulstone to read my own work in English on the app, just like everybody else). Just to let you know that I havent and will never drop my work on Kingdom's Bloodline, the story of Thales will continue til his end (or mine), at least in Chinese. Btw, I was never informed about the terminating of translation (its ok, the Qidian or Webnovel never told me anything about the online-selling situation oversea anyway, even when the translation started years ago). But pls feel free to contact me on my Weibo (weibo.com/u/6171559470) if u have any further questions, or you can just email me to 1615111844@qq.com. And yep, I can speak English.
Chinese reader, and I just finished all raw chapters released so far. Honestly, KB doesnt feel like a web novel but a printed one. BTW, I check author's Weibo(like Chinese twitter), seems he knows his novel translated in Webnovel.com, and he keep reading the Eng version as we do. But the funniest part is, the author says he cant keep up on the updated, coz he CANT afford the SS!
After marathon reading this, i can only say "WTF is this. This is soooo gooooodddddd" Reason? 1. MC is Smart and Witty 2. Mc identity make us expect a good and complex plot (a beggar, an illegitimate prince, and a mystic. Mystic is someone that people regard as calamity) 3. He solved problem with his brain, and this is not just face slapping among young master. And his brain isn't made of d1ck. Not harem seeking transmigrator 4. Author give us a really solid background story, so we can expect a really good story development and world background 5. This story is heavy at first, but slowly become more mild. Some comedic undertone, and some mystery is a good spice to make the story more engaging At first, i only voted this because other novel in what's next is too trashy. But now, after i tested it, i fall deeply in love with this novel I envy this novel future reader. The won't have to hang on the cliff with only around 30 chapter. They can have a feast and happily read this. Hahhh,,,
Better than the synopsis of the other 2... I really hope they drop novels that are too long on the pool... Those two romances seems like sh**... Sorry to those who like romance but it's the true...
First the story was good with Alot of world building but after reaching chapter 100 it gets old fast, the story is not moving at all despite the endless text walls, at this rate the main char is gonna stay a 7 year old for the next 1000 chapters. There are far to many different POWs from filler characters that hold no meaning to the overall story, this is the type of story you stop reading after 500 chapters cause you got tired of reading info text walls while waiting for the story to get juicy .
Seems like a dark fantasy, sing me up. Also there's not much choice this week unless you're a romance lover. That's double the motivation to vote for this novel.
Long time no see, this is the author. Just to let you know, the writing process is going well ( at least to some extents) except for occasional pauses( which is normal). Btw I create an Instagram account recent ly, to post some of my writing process updates. Feel free to contact me there if u like. Wish you all good! Yours, Masterless Sword, from China, 2021.02.01
Very good so far, interesting main character, interesting interpretation of magic and the weakness of the main character is clear in a non-obnoxious way. The first volume can be read here: https://pastebin.com/u/Broken_noodle
This novel is blood boiling. I want to make this as short and ****** as possible for I feel I could write a plethora of pages about this novel. It’s the closest Web Novel to reach the boundaries of an actual published book in that it uses many in-depth methods you would see in a great work of fiction. It has POV transitions. Where many web novels fail to give a perspective other than the protagonists, this novel does not fail and gives the reader the enjoyment of an interesting story with multiple facets to it. The world building in this novel ranks among the best I’ve ever seen of a web novel. It’s rich, inclusive to the plot, and so well written. I’m a personal fan of fictional histories and world building, and this novel hits all the spots. Perhaps most importantly is the cast of characters. The MC is a transmigration yet only has the benefit of some memories of his former graduate self. He is not powerful to the point that he impervious to threats and rather the opposite. I look forward to his growth, further use of his keen mind and eloquent verbal manipulation in dealing with the machinations that are pushing the kingdom to the precipice. And to accompany this protagonist and a great array of characters, fleshed out and interesting, helping and scheming against the protagonist. The villains in this are no slackers and defy the standard web novel villain that’s dumber than a stack of bricks. Of course, the great translation quality of this novel makes the novel just as much as the other factors. I’ve seen almost no errors in the translation and the structuring of the extensive word count that makes up a single chapter in this work is pleasing to say the least. It makes the story all the more wonderful to read. I’ll leave the story up to other reviews to spoil, but I say read it yourself. It isn’t fast, it’s paced more like a an actual novel rather than a web novel, but it will give a more enjoyable story overall. The 14 chapters a week release rate is enough to satisfy all but the most avid reader. I for one cannot get enough, but will endeavor to be patient.
This is a story review not a translation one. The translation is fine. For me its very boring, its also very confusing and jun** from one place to the next and ot has alot of info dumps. Theres also a lot of side character talk so if you like that good for you. The MC is a basic goodie to shoes caracter who is smart (when he appears of course half of the chapters are without him, i think side characters have had more screen time than the mc has) I would not call this movel dark only real. It has some dark sides but it is nothing compared to actual dark storys, theres also alot of how to be a good king and what being a good king means, but its just a bunch of bull**** comig frome someone who knows jack ****.
Just finished all curently released chapters(460) and i need moral support to deal with this... i want to read more and to know more .. Its a very good read with its ups and downs .. I concluded that the story is very deppresing full of betryal and twists..
I knew this day would come eventually; Webnovel would never understand the value of this novel and cancel it due to its low popularity. So many good novels had been canceled or on hiatus, how could this novel escape this same fate. Apart from a few people who regularly follow this novel who would know that what a gem of a novel is this in the array of all the trash novels in these sites. Everyone who is following this novel, know that this is undoubtedly the best novel in this site. Probably only ’Lord of the Mysteries’ comes close in terms of quality. But everyone knows about ’Lord of the Mysteries’, how many people know about this novel though. Actually this book is too good for this site. This site is only for them who likes fast-paced, adrenal rush, and flimsy plotlines stories. On the other hand, everyone noted that this is a novel that should be a hardbound book. The quality is so high that this novel should be comparable with other fiction mavericks like- wheel of time, game of thrones, lord of the ring, and Malazan book of the fallen (yep anyone who has dared to go through that torture should admit that at least this novel is easier to read with same epic label storytelling and world-building). But without this site, we would not have know about this gem of a novel as well. So what can we do for everyone to recognize this novel and it gets its deserved accolade? I have some suggestions to raise awareness between readers and popularity of the book. 1. Discuss this novel among your friends and relatives who are fan of fiction novels. 2. Discuss this novel on your Facebook or other social sites. 3. Discuss this novel in webnovel forums. I did not found any thread discussing this novel at all. How the readers of this site or app are will even know the existence of this book if they are never discussing the site forum. At the same time, we must make it clear that this novel is for the serious and ******** fans of fiction, not for the casual readers who only likes face-slapping and fast-paced stories. 4. Lastly, we can prompt famous reviewers or YouTuber ( like Daniel green who is a humongous fan of fiction novel)to read and review this novel on their account. Millions of people follow these reviewers; if they see the review they may be interested to check this novel sometime. We can afford to recommend this novel because of the extremely high quality of this novel. Unlike other novels in this site (at the same time we must warn or ensure them, not to judge Kingdom’s bloodline with other novels of this site). If you have any other suggestions to increase the popularity of this novel please note down them as well. We the fan of judge Kingdom’s bloodline can either sit back and do nothing, or we can come forward to propagate this novel to everyone to increase it’s popularity so that Webnovel picks this novel again for translation.
What a wonderful little novel. Please read my review if you have the time. It is translated excellently (“swordsmen of eradication/termination” is about the coolest name translated from Chinese I’ve seen on Quidan). I’ve only read until chapter 32 and I’ve already read enough to write a sincere review. If you are picky about what you read, please browse through this review, as it will probably help you decide. [TLDR]: The novel has depth of character, an intriguing world background, and portrays the moral ambiguity of its human-like characters. The translation, up to the latest chapter I’ve read, is at the level of native English, which is much better than other novels on this site/app. Plus, wits over brawn always wins the day for readers like me. [HIGHLIGHTS]: The characters do not follow some shallow sense of justice, and act like real human beings. That means they will be dark, selfish, and exploit people whilst also showing kindness and loyalty towards others, etc. Reminds me strongly of the characters in Trafford’s Trading Club (ppl who initially seem like trash but are in fact acting for the sake of others, etc) The world, up to the latest chapter I’ve read, is intriguing and has unconventional aspects such as mystics and decently complicated political warfare. This world has unique elements, much like the world in Throne of Magical Arcana (music + church vs magicians/scientists). The main character is a perceptive planner/schemer/diplomat type. Reincarnation is tricky and does not make him OP. He works hard in a harsh world and should be considered a generally mature person. This novel is one of the best translated on Quidan. Thank you very much for your hard work! What would we readers be doing without you guys..? [RECOMMENDATIONS]: Again, if you find that this novel suits your tastes I recommend you check out these titles on Quidan: - Throne of Magical Arcana - Trafford’s Trading Club They are somewhat alike to Kingdom’s Bloodline in terms of the amount of thinking expected of the reader, multifaceted human characters, and creatively unconventional world building. If you are a particular type of reader, you will likely enjoy all 3 to varying degrees. NOTE: To those rating 1 star because you are angry about spirit stones... if you truly like these novels... nobody is forcing you to read on Quidan you know..? (^-^)! Thank you for reading my review. I put a lot of time into writing it because I think sharing this novel with others is worth the time expended. ... Pls I need your upvote :P
This novel is amazing, writing feels like I'm reading a true novel from a bookstore instead of some cliche filled web novel. The story is pretty good so far and the world building done by the author is massive, lots of content. The main character is lovely, childish at times (because he is 7 ATM) but also very smart with a solid analytical way of thinking through problems (all due to his personal circumstances, story stuff)

Guys this novel is literally on the level of a printed novel the character development is flawless its a bit darker than most novels you will encounter but it really drags out that excitement and on edge feeling cause you just worry about mc and the character are so well fleshed that everything they do has a reason and everyone has a motive where its not simply that they are dicks so the villains have an amazing depth to them that makes you understand them instead of simply hate them for their actions and if you like game of thrones you should give this a try from the way its developing i think courtyard politics is gonna be important and its not gonna be like normal novels where politics is important for two seconds before they just go back to survival of the fittest and mc just has a silver tongue and flawless analytical ability you need to give this a read if youre a fan of well written stories
