This was referring to the combat strategy coined by the Imperial Japanese forces during World War II. It will not be elaborated here fully, but to sum it up, it was an assumption based-strategy, making the American troops to seem like actors in a play. Everybody knew what happened in the end – it was a classic example for a backfired strategy.
