Bai Qian chuckled and nodded proudly. "I'm from Ben State City."

"Is Ben State City considered a big city?" Chu Li asked.

"Of course!" Bai Qian replied proudly. "Ben State City is one of the forty-eight tremendously popular cities in the Li Dynasty!" 

"I see," Chu Li said with admiration. "It's a pity I can't go out and look around. Miss Ruolan said I'm not allowed to leave." 

"Hehe, that's because she's scared that you might get lost," Bai Qian said jokingly.

Chu Li pretended to think it over seriously. "No wonder."

Bai Qian felt increasingly amused. He had not expected this guy to be a fool who was incapable of differentiating between a well-intended piece of advice and a malicious remark.

"Oh right, Brother Bai, are you planning to join the Holy Church of Light too?" Chu Li asked eagerly. 

Bai Qian nodded proudly. "Of course."

Chu Li grinned and said, "Then we can keep each other company."
