And that was what he chased after.

He came to a stop after searching for a while. There were five crossed paths ahead, all of which were marked by Zi Xiao's aura.

There were meridians, trachea, and blood vessels too.

Su Mo carefully felt around each of them. The five crossed paths all bore Zi Xiao's aura, and were equally dense. 

"He got away again!" Su Mo let out an exasperated sigh. He gave up. He only had a one in five chance of getting it right, which was far too low. 

Even if he had chosen correctly, he might not have been able to catch up with the man. His encounter with Murong Qi had delayed him for some time and caused him to miss out on the chance to catch Zi Xiao.
