Chapitre 59: Let The Games Begin

The Thousand Sunny drifted toward a grand, towering island known as **Islet de Luxe**, renowned for its wealth, sophistication, and unwavering disdain for pirates. Its white stone streets gleamed in the sunlight, and the towering marble buildings screamed luxury.

As the ship approached the harbor, Nami unfolded a local newspaper she had picked up from a passing bird. Her eyes widened when she flipped to a section labeled "WANTED."

"Guys," Nami said, her voice sharp. "We've got a problem."

"What is it, Nami?" Luffy asked, lazily munching on a piece of meat.

She slammed the paper down on the table, revealing a full spread of the Straw Hats' wanted posters plastered across the page.

"This island *hates* pirates," she explained. "There are posters of us everywhere! If they catch us, they'll throw us straight to the Marines."

"Sounds like we shouldn't go ashore," Zoro grunted, arms crossed.

"That's not an option," Nami said, glaring at him. "This is an important island for restocking supplies and gathering intel. But we're going to have to be smart about it."

Sanji leaned against the mast, smirking. "Are you suggesting we go in disguise, my dear Nami-swan?"

"Exactly," Nami said, grinning. "This island is very formal, so we'll blend in with the upper class."

Robin chuckled, closing her book. "Sounds fun. I do love a little roleplay."

The crew got to work, raiding their wardrobes and Franky's stash of fabric and sewing supplies. Kikidori, as usual, seemed a little too excited.

"This is going to be awesome!" Kikidori said, holding up a suit jacket that was two sizes too big for him.

"You're supposed to look classy, not like a clown," Raiko muttered, rolling his eyes.

"Shut up, fat monkey," Kikidori shot back.

"Both of you, shut it," Nami snapped. "If either of you mess this up, I'll kill you."

By the time they stepped off the Sunny, the crew looked unrecognizable.

Luffy wore a crisp black tuxedo with a bow tie, though he kept fidgeting with the tie and mumbling about how it "felt like choking." His hair was neatly combed, and he carried a fake gold-tipped cane. His fake name? "Sir Rupert D. Charles."

Zoro was dressed in an all-black suit with a green ascot, his swords hidden within a hollowed-out umbrella. He went by the name "Mr. Gregory Hawthorne."

Nami looked stunning in a sleek emerald dress, complete with a diamond necklace and white gloves. She introduced herself as "Lady Amelia Von Carrow."

Sanji wore a white suit with gold trim and a matching top hat, looking every bit like a dashing noble. He called himself "Lord Vincent Beaufort."

Robin's outfit was a dark purple gown with intricate lace detailing, paired with a pearl choker. Her name was "Duchess Evangeline Noir."

Chopper wore a tiny black suit and top hat, and his fake name was "Master Theodore Bucksworth."

Franky wore a ridiculously oversized pinstripe suit and slicked his hair back, going by "Bartholomew Stache."

Brook, ever the eccentric one, wore a red velvet suit with gold buttons and a ruffled cravat. His fake name? "Sir Montgomery Bones."

Kikidori's outfit was a white three-piece suit with a red bow tie. His hair was slicked back, and he kept adjusting his cuffs. "I'm Lord Percival K. Dastardly," he declared, striking a dramatic pose.

Raiko reluctantly donned a navy blue suit, his hair combed neatly for once. He introduced himself as "Lord Julius Ashcroft."

Ere'ana wore a gorgeous sapphire gown with silver embroidery, her hair styled in an elegant bun. Her name was "Lady Celeste Ardent."

---

As they walked into the bustling city square, they marveled at the grandeur of Islet de Luxe. The streets were lined with boutique shops, gourmet restaurants, and enormous fountains adorned with gold statues. People in extravagant outfits strolled by, completely unaware of the infamous Straw Hats in their midst.

"So far, so good," Nami whispered.

"I feel like a prince!" Luffy said loudly, twirling his cane.

"Act natural, Luffy!" Nami hissed.

Kikidori, unable to resist, struck a dramatic pose in the middle of the street. "BEHOLD, I AM LORD DASTARDLY!" he declared, drawing the attention of several passersby.

"Kikidori!" Zoro snapped. "You're going to blow our cover!"

"Sorry!" Kikidori whispered, his face turning red as he quickly fell in line with the group.

As they moved through the streets, they overheard snippets of conversation about a grand gala being held at the governor's mansion that evening. Apparently, it was the place to be for anyone who was anyone on the island.

"Perfect," Robin said with a sly smile. "If we attend this gala, we might be able to gather some useful information."

"But how are we going to get in?" Usopp asked nervously.

"Leave that to me," Nami said, smirking.

---

Later that evening, the Straw Hats—still in disguise—arrived at the governor's mansion, their invitations forged by Nami's expert hand. The grand ballroom was a spectacle of glittering chandeliers, polished marble floors, and an orchestra playing in the corner.

"Remember," Nami whispered as they entered, "act rich and important. Don't blow our cover."

The crew nodded, each doing their best to blend in.

As the night progressed, they mingled with the other guests, subtly gathering information about the island and its anti-pirate sentiment. But as they sipped champagne and exchanged pleasantries, none of them could shake the feeling that someone was watching them.

"Something's not right," Robin murmured to Zoro, her eyes scanning the room.

Before Zoro could respond, a booming voice echoed through the ballroom.

"STOP RIGHT THERE!"

The crew froze as a group of armed guards stormed in, their leader holding up a stack of wanted posters.

"The Straw Hat Pirates have been spotted on this island!" the guard shouted. "Seal the exits! They're here somewhere!"

The crew exchanged panicked glances. Their cover had been blown.

"Time for Plan B," Nami whispered.

"And what's Plan B?" Usopp asked, his voice trembling.

"RUN!" Luffy yelled, grabbing his cane like a weapon as chaos erupted in the ballroom.
