Today marks the second day I've been held by "Shattered Fang" an unknown group that I still know almost nothing about
I've been held in the same room that I woke up in from the previous day, the only difference was that the bodies of the men I killed were no longer there. They were cleaned up by Kang before she left.
The room looked the same except that it was a little cleaner than yesterday.
Kang walked into my cell and handed me some food and water along with a piece of paper. She then locked the door behind her and left without saying anything else to me.
She did this every morning and night, but she always left the food and water outside my cell.
At first, I tried talking to her, but all she ever said to me was "Don't try to leave, you won't make it far".
That's pretty much all I remember of her face. Her voice sounded familiar though...I think maybe we met somewhere? I can't seem to recall.
Maybe I should ask her about it later? Maybe I'll find out more information about the organization that has captured me. Lucian thought
Well eating the food and water then he layed down on the floor thinking about what he needed to do next.
Tomorrow is another day and hopefully, I'll get answers soon.
***
The next morning Lucian woke up to a plate of cold food prepared in packages it was a mix of rice, fish and vegetables. He took the food and laid it aside,
So I've become a Slave? I now have 3 goals somehow get rid of the thing that they called rage worm, that is currently in my body. Get revenge on the people who hurt me and kill anyone who tries to stop me from accomplishing either goal.
Well, at least I have plenty of time to plan everything out.
He looked around the small cell he was being kept in, it was mostly bare except for a table with two chairs, a bed and a toilet. On top of the table, there was a picture frame holding pictures of a woman and a child. A couple of bookshelves lined the walls with various texts, and a desk rested under the window.
Lucian walked towards the desk and picked up one of the books on the shelf, it was titled "The Test Of The Divine"
Lucian opened the book and started reading the first page.
The Test of the Divine is a test to test the candidates of the "Gods Game" In this test the candidates will be sent into the past a random person when they enter they will have traits and abilities that are specific to them. Once they are done testing they will return to their current timeline with memories of the events that happened during the time travel.
If the candidate survives the event they will go through a series of tests that will determine if they are worthy to receive the mark that will allow them to participate in the Gods Game.
This I where the book ended there was no real information about "God's Games" or what exactly the Gods did. There was also no mention of what the Marks were, or how to obtain them.
All in all, it was useless to read, so he closed the book and tossed it onto the chair next to him.
I have to hand it to this organization they are really thorough. They made sure that I can't escape, as they had the rage worm put into their captured humans, and they kept track of all of us prisoners. Well having a leash on our necks, as I'm assuming that there is more in this project than just the "Me" and they are trying to create a perfect army, or perhaps even a whole society based off of us.
A group of people who can control the world.
That sounds scary…
While Lucian was sitting on the floor pondering his future plans, a door suddenly swung open and a large man entered the room carrying a tray full of food.
"Good Morning." The big man said.
"Morning," Lucian replied.
"Here is your breakfast." The man set the tray on the ground beside Lucian.
"Thank you."
The man nodded and then left the room closing the door behind himself.
Once he was gone, Lucian grabbed the spoon and started eating. After finishing, he got up and washed the dishes before putting them away.
Soon after, a guard knocked on the door and told Lucian it was time for his Combat Class.
Hmm… is this following the same schedule as the orphanage? Also shouldn't there be a missing report about me? Lucian thought as he followed the guards down the hallways until they reached a huge wooden door with a sign above it saying "Initiation Room".
One of the guards unlocked the door with a key and stepped aside to let Lucian pass.
"Wait here."
With that said the guard left the room and shut the door behind himself.
Lucian took a deep breath before walking forward and opening the door. Inside was a dark room lit only by candles, and it smelled of blood and sweat.
He walked further inside and saw a small stage surrounded by a circle of chairs.
On the table in the center of the ring was a sword. A single light shone down upon it.
"Hello, My name is Master M'lou. Today we shall begin with Beat- Ahem Initiation… yes you, will fight your fellow classmates in order to earn points, if you win then you will get extra rations
and better food. Lose and well…"
You will lose certain privileges…
Everyone will be given a circular Tag. And those Tags will be attached to your collar. This collar will track your matches and keep track of your losses and Wins you will be given a point system everyone starts with 50 points. Every time you lose you'll lose 10 points and every time you win you'll gain 15 points.
To initiate a match you will need to double tap the button in the middle of the collar, and when the timer reaches 0, both fighters will go into battle mode. Once the fight begins you cannot use weapons during the match unless otherwise stated.
There will be a Ranking system based on points. Everyone will start with the same amount of points. Each loss will reduce your score by 10 points while winning fights increase it by 15 points. Points may be used to purchase items from the store located outside of this room.
And these collars will stay on you for your stay, should anyone try to remove them they will receive severe punishment.
A Fight can be Initiated even outside of this room this is an organization where the strong dominate the weak, and those who wish to remain unharmed will have to take part in fights.
That's all for the Initiation. You will now be shown the library and where you will be staying you will be given a room clothes and bedding.
M'lou said as he began to walk towards the exit, and soon after the rest of the students followed.
Once everyone had exited, the teacher closed the door and locked it.
"Welcome to the Library."
A group of people entered a large building filled with bookshelves. The air was warm and humid, making the atmosphere uncomfortable.
"I will now explain what this place is.
The Library is a collection of knowledge and information regarding the Gods. There are many different types of books ranging from basic facts about the gods to advanced knowledge such as spells and magic circles.
"The Librarians are responsible for maintaining the library. They keep the books organized and ensure that the information inside is correct.
In addition, they can create new books based on information from the old ones. This allows the library to constantly update its knowledge base.
You will be living in the dormitory next door, where you will have free access to the library at any time."
"Please enjoy your stay here."
"So, how exactly do you know which books are useful?" one of the students asked curiously.
"That's simple. All the books have a label on them stating their purpose. For example, this one says 'Introduction to Magic.' So, if you want to learn about magic, you'd better pick up a copy of this book."
The student nodded, taking the book off the shelf and flipping through its pages.
"What's your name, by the way?"
"My name is Kieraa she replied well still looking at the book.
Kieraa has long black hair and pale skin. She wore a blue shirt with white pants with red stripes running down it. She was about 5'7" and had a slim build. She had sharp eyes and a thin mouth with lips that curled upwards when she was smiling or talking.
"Lucian only noticed her because of M'lou's comment.
She was beautiful. Her features were delicate yet attractive. Lucian couldn't help but stare.
He wondered if she might feel the same. But he quickly shook away that thought as he realized that she probably didn't notice him.
Well, I'll just go check out some other books.
He decided to leave the area, heading over to the dormitory.
***
Even though we are their slaves they've given us free roam this place academy inside but I can't comment on the outside as we have never been allowed outside.
The hallway life looked much like a school and had all the usual signs of a typical school. The halls were clean and well-lit, and the walls had a mural painted on them depicting a fantasy-like landscape. It showed a mountain range, rivers, and forests.
There were doors lining the hallways, leading to classrooms, bathrooms, and other rooms.
'When M'lou was showing us around he gave us numbers for the dormitory that we have been assigned to. I was assigned to number 731'
I looked around at the other kids. Most seemed pretty normal.
A few were clearly gifted with great physical strength, speed, or intelligence. One kid was a little too skinny for my liking, and another guy reminded me of a monkey. His arms were longer than his legs, giving him the appearance of a humanoid ape.
Some of the others were more interesting. Like a girl with a tail, with cat ears on top of her hair she had black hair and dark skin. She also wore a pair of goggles that were perched on her head and looked down at Lucian like she wanted to eat him.
She was about 5'10", and had sharp yellow eyes and pale blue skin. Her face was almost completely covered by a silver mask that covered her head and most of her nose, giving her a strange alien look.
Another kid who looked to be 13 had a large scar going across his entire body from his left shoulder to right hip, with his lower torso having multiple scars, including a huge one where half of his right leg ended just below the knee.
He was obviously some sort of monster, but it didn't take much more than that to figure out that he wasn't human.
He was wearing what looked like leather armour over his upper body, along with a long red cape.
"These guys must be interspecies or something." Lucian thought well moving on looking for his room, he saw a door marked Room 731 and walked towards it. As he reached it, he opened it and stepped inside.
The room looked much like the rest of the building. There was a bed, desk, and chair set up in the center of the room, and a closet beside it. The window was closed, but open air entered through it.
He took off his coat and laid it over the foot of the bed, then pulled out the map M'lou gave him. He checked the location of the school and the surrounding areas and made sure everything matched up.
Looking around the room, he noticed a small box sitting on the desk next to the mirror. Opening it up, he discovered that it contained two sets of clothes; a white shirt accompanied by a black leather suit with the middle left completely open showing the white shirt underneath.
Next was a pair of gray pants with matching shoes to match. They looked fairly normal, except for the fact that they were made out of metal and had no laces to tie. Under all of the clothes, there was a curved blade with a sheath inside of the bag.
The katana's hilt and grip were gold and it was slightly smaller than the average sword. It had a short handle and a wide guard.
The curved blade had these weird rune scribbles on the blade and it had a slight glow to it.
" I guess that they returned my weapon. That makes sense since I'm now considered their slave" Lucian hated admitting that he was now a slave but he couldn't help it.
Lucian put the bag away and started getting dressed.
After I finish, I need to go to the arena and Get more combat experience and see what other things I can get done here. Maybe find some allies in the area or something... Lucian thought before grabbing his suit and putting it on.

Lucian looked in the mirror and saw the katana in its sheath strapped to his back, then he grabbed his coat and put it on as well. He finished getting ready and then opened the door.
"Excuse me miss? I need to know where I'm supposed to go to be able to go to the Arena."
The woman at the reception desk looked up at him and then looked back down.
She had blonde hair tied up into an elegant bun on her head as well as straight eyebrows that matched her bright blue eyes perfectly; she stood at about 5' 5".
She wore an elegant black dress covered in silver jewels that hung from her shoulders; she also wore silver heels that didn't reach her knees when she walked; her arms were covered with silver bracelets as well as her fingers; her hands were also coated with silver rings that matched her bracelets;
She's really overdressed for this place... I mean she looks like she just walked out of some high-class party or something... Lucian thought before looking back at her face again; he noticed her eyes looking him over as if she was trying to decide whether or not he was worthy enough to be allowed into their school or not. He sighed annoyed as she finally spoke up again
"I'll have someone show you where you need to go."
The woman smiled brightly and walked away with her clipboard in hand leaving Lucian with the feeling that he'd done something wrong. As Lucian continued down the hallway, he noticed that the doors had small windows next to them showing people in there fighting matches and training.
Some were beating on others while others were being beaten themselves; some of them were even bleeding from their ears. It wasn't until Lucian entered the arena itself that he realized that he had walked right into hell, literally.
The arena itself was a circular-shaped building that was built in a circle with one side leading outside so that one could see all of the fights taking place at once. There were hundreds of people in the arena fighting each other, and Lucian knew that he didn't stand a chance against them all. He had never seen this much violence in his life, let alone so many people all fighting at once.
Lucian quickly scanned the crowd in an attempt to find someone weak and unarmed so that he could get some quick kills, but then he stopped when he realized something.
Every single person in this arena was armed; they all had swords, knives, guns, and bows...
There was a receptionist desk in front of the opening and a huge blue translucent screen showing the fights from every angle.
There were also chairs that had screens attached to them so that one could watch the fight comfortably as well as a table with snacks, drinks and alcohol sitting on top of it; Lucian couldn't help but laugh.
With waiting Lucian wanted to find out how the area worked so he approached the receptionist's desk, with a hopeful look on his face and asked for more information.
As you already have a collar as long as you go to a "Waiting Room" you'll be able to look at the available people that will fight you. You can either pick someone or choose "Fight" which will match you with fighters with the same amount or similar points as you.
The waiting room is in the direction of the door behind the screen in there. Good luck!
The receptionist smiled again and went back to typing away on her keyboard.
He looked around again and then saw a sign that read
"Waiting Room"
So, he headed towards the door marked on the sign.
As he opened the door what greeted him was a man with brown skin wearing a white shirt, black pants, and a red cape with gold trim around his shoulders, his arms were covered in tattoos that showed off his muscles. His head was shaved clean except for two braids on both sides of his skull. He stood at 6 feet 5 inches tall and weighed roughly 200 pounds.
He had sharp, dark green eyes that seemed to stare straight through him as if he wasn't there.
"Hello are you new here?" he asked Lucian.
"Yes, I am. I was told that this was the waiting room. And I can choose my opponent here?" Lucian replied nervously.
The man smiled at Lucian and nodded "Yes, you should be fine to choose any opponent you wish to. But if you feel threatened in any way please come back to me so I can help you."
"Okay thanks," Lucian said with a nervous tone in his voice.
The man nodded to him and then moved on.
Lucian looked around and noticed that there were other men around, none of which looked threatening in any way. They were all different in appearance though; some had light skin, some had dark skin and some were mixed, while others had blonde hair and blue eyes. He saw a lot of women too! All of them were dressed in various kinds of armour from leather, metal, plate mail etc...
There were also quite a few children who wore nothing but rags; they were dirty and looked sickly. Most of them didn't seem to pay attention to the fight, they just sat in their seats watching the fight intently but with no emotion on their faces whatsoever.
After walking past several more fighters, Lucian reached the end where he saw a small screen displaying all the fighters who were currently in the waiting room as well as their stats. The screens were divided into sections so that they could easily be viewed and read.
Lucian scanned through them looking for someone who might be suitable for him to fight, however, most of the men displayed in front of him had high stats and were ranked very highly, while others were barely ranked at all or weren't ranked with a default score of 50.
Instead of looking through the list, Lucian Clicked the "Fight" icon and then a question popped up in front of Lucian. Would you like to fight someone if similar Points
-
Y/N
-
Lucian quickly answered yes. He then waited anxiously until a match was found for him to fight. A few minutes passed and finally, a fighter with a rating of 56 appeared before him.
Then instead of waiting anymore a magic circle appeared under him as he stepped into it.
He disappeared from sight as suddenly as he appeared before entering the fight zone. Once he was fully inside the battle arena a small window, opened above his head showing all the stats of the fighter he was about to fight as well as his own points as well. He took a moment to take it all in.
His opponent was a woman with long dark hair that hung down past her waist. She wore light brown plate armour that covered nearly every part of her body except for her legs, arms and face. The armour looked heavy but sturdy.
There was a chain attached to her breastplate that was connected to a large iron shield that she held in one arm and used with the other hand to wield two swords. She looked to be a veteran warrior who had been fighting for many years since she was young.
Lucian clicked the button that said "Start Now" and then watched the timer count down from 5 seconds. Then he stood ready for his enemy to attack him.
After the timer and barrier disappeared
he swung his sword in a downward arc towards her. As soon as the blade made contact with the air she blocked it with the edge of her shield and countered by swinging both blades upwards toward him. Lucian managed to dodge the blow by jumping backwards and landing behind her.
She turned around to look at him and raised her eyebrows.
"Are you sure you're ready to fight?" she asked.
"I'm always prepared," Lucian replied confidently.
They circled each other cautiously as they tried to decide what move to make next. They kept their distance from each other, neither wanting to risk getting too close.
Finally, after several tense moments, the woman attacked again, this time slashing horizontally across his torso.
Lucian ducked under the swing and kicked off the ground, launching himself forward into a spinning kick aimed directly at the woman's chest. She jumped backward out of the way just in time to avoid being hit.
Without giving Lucian any time she lunged at him, swinging her swords in wide arcs and trying to cut him down with her shields.
Lucian tried to dodge the attacks by leaping away or blocking with his sword but eventually, she managed to slice open his leg. He winced in pain and stumbled back.
