Synopsis

In a world where survival is the only morality, Zimo Banks is a man burdened by cruelty and injustice. Once a quiet and brilliant software engineer, Zimo's life spirals into chaos when a sinister black rain falls upon the Earth, mutating life into nightmarish forms. This cataclysm leaves Zimo battling not only monstrous creatures but the darker sides of humanity.

However, Zimo's life takes an even darker turn when he bonds with Kivu, a beast of unparalleled malice and cunning. Kivu possesses a rare, otherworldly power: the ability to manipulate and reshape matter within its "Shadow Dominion." But with this power comes a price. Kivu is not just a companion; it is a manipulator, an architect of destruction that whispers temptations into Zimo’s mind, awakening his deepest fears and darkest desires.

As Zimo delves deeper into this pact with Kivu, he finds himself on a treacherous path, torn between the remnants of his humanity and the seductive allure of power. He becomes a figure of immense strength, feared and revered, but the cost of his ascendance is steep. The line between hero and villain blurs, leaving Zimo to question his own identity and the true nature of his existence.

Will he succumb to the darkness within, or can he find a way to defy the malevolent influence that threatens to consume him? Can a man who has embraced malevolence ever find redemption?

Honestly, I don’t understand how anyone can trust an author who quits on their book so abruptly. Stopping uploads completely, especially after readers have paid for privilege chapters to stay ahead in the story, feels irresponsible. Because of this, I wouldn’t recommend anyone get invested in this author’s work or waste time and money on something they might abandon without notice. My criticism extends to both the platform and the author for allowing this to happen. Save yourself the frustration and don’t waste your time.
