"Would you like a chair?"
"Thank you but I do not need one. I won't be here much longer," Selene said, looking away from the window to the butler. "I was only looking to see if his carriage was there. It must be a long ride to see his parents."
"It is but the lord has his ways of being quick," Harold replied.
Selene stepped away from the window to get closer to Harold. "I am curious what his relationship with his parents is like now. Is he close to both of them?"
"His parents, mostly his mother, frequent the estate when they can. He is close to his mother but it isn't the same with his father. You must speak to the lord about his relationship with his father. I do not want to tell you the story wrong," said Harold.
