Chapitre 8: Life in the village
Gimmick had settled in the village a while back. Every day he would water the crops in the fields, pet some stray cats, wave to the village guardian, and try to get the villagers to go back to their normal ways. However, to his luck, their spirits and their morale had been deflated due to their savior's capture.
Gim was currently in the cozy cathedral where the old man lived. At least Gim thought it was a cathedral. He didn't know how tall he was ever since being transported to Minecraft. He just knew it was about 3 of him stacked on one another. It was pretty narrow inside except for a bed in the corner, a weird contraption with 3 vials of glass hanging on it, and a ladder that led up stairs, into a smaller room. That was his room.
He was currently organizing the chest he had constructed after cutting down some trees for wood. He currently had inside some torches, a bow with a loose drawstring, some pieces of wheat, and 11 ender pearls. They were crystalline orbs the size of his palm, with a dark center. He only needed to collect one more to have a complete set for interdimensional travel.
Although the villagers didn't interact with him, and they barely left their homes, he still cared about them. He wanted to see this village thrive after he saved Steve. After all, it wasn't a matter of if. He was going to save him, without fail.
