"You have quite an entourage waiting for you, Lord Stafford," the king said, as he and Elijah returned to the hall from their private discussion. King Edward nodded at the Duke and started to walk back toward the private audience room.

Caspian leaned closer to Jovana as if he were kissing her cheek for goodbye. "Go with your brother now. I have some matters to attend to, but wait for me at home. I'll meet you tonight."

Jovana nodded in acknowledgment and moved away from him. As they walked away from the palace, Elijah and Xena gave her an impatient look. Jovana sighed as she said, "I'll tell you about everything later, but I think we're done here for today, and we can leave the delightful hospitality of our king."
