Chapitre 31: [31] : Kaguya + Yuzuru = Kazamachi?

Draconic Deus.

Earth - Japan.

Tokyo - Avalon Residence.

[***]

The next day, early in the morning, exactly at 8 a.m., Aiden slowly opened his eyes, emerging from his slumber.

He felt a warm weight in his arms and on his chest.

Although the room was dark, his vision perfectly captured Kotori sleeping peacefully in his embrace, with the sheets covering them.

He pulled her a little closer and inhaled the scent of her hair.

"Good morning... sleepyhead," Aiden whispered.

Kotori frowned, clearly annoyed because she didn't want to wake up yet.

Aiden spent a while trying to get her up, but she only grumbled, murmuring something incomprehensible as she snuggled even closer.

"Let's... sleep... a little... longer... zzzz," she finally muttered before falling asleep again.

Aiden smiled and decided to let her rest.

After all, they had nothing urgent to do.

Besides, the previous night had been intense.

As wielders of [Camael], which granted them infinite stamina as long as they had enough Reiryoku and magical power, their nocturnal battle had stretched on until late.

In the end, they both kept sleeping soundly until midday.

[*]

At 12 p.m., Aiden finally got up.

After clearing the smell and tidying up the room, he picked up Kotori, who was still fast asleep, and carried her in a classic princess carry.

He planned to take her to the bathroom, but first, he decided to walk down the hallway.

He stopped in front of a door with a sign that read: "Nia."

Although the girls had separate rooms to maintain their personal space and enjoy their hobbies, Aiden didn't mind at all.

After all, they could always sneak into his room whenever they wanted, as Kotori had done the night before.

"I knew it…" Aiden murmured before opening the door.

There was Nia, the short-haired, ash-colored girl, focused on drawing manga at her desk.

Kotori had already opened her eyes but showed no intention of leaving her spot in Aiden's arms.

"Hey…" Aiden called, stopping just behind Nia while still carrying Kotori as if it were the most natural thing in the world.

His deep, close voice resonated in the mangaka's ear.

"Nia…" he whispered with intent.

"Hya~" Nia let out a small squeal and shivered in her chair.

She hadn't expected that.

She had been so absorbed in her work and so comfortable in the house that her guard was at 0%.

When she turned to face the prankster, she met Aiden's cold and piercing golden eyes... accompanied by a pair of red eyes watching her with amusement from Kotori's face.

"A-Aiden-kun, it's not what it looks like! Okay?" Nia stammered, stiff as a statue.

"What exactly doesn't it look like? All I see is a workaholic who stayed up late because she probably got ideas all of a sudden," Aiden said as he gently tugged on her left cheek.

"You probably didn't even notice how late it got," added Kotori, who was still being carried like a princess, now pulling Nia's right cheek.

"Th-That's... not true...!" Nia protested, her words stumbling as she tried to fend them off.

"Hmm, I don't believe you," Aiden commented, letting go of her cheek. "Anyway, take a break. If you want, join us in the bathroom to freshen up a bit. Then you can continue, but at least have lunch with your family."

Without waiting for a response, Aiden left the room with Kotori in his arms.

Nia, realizing she had no valid excuses, followed them down the hallway.

As they walked, something in the air caught her attention.

Her keen sense of smell picked up a particular scent, and a sly smile appeared on her face.

Kotori, seeing her smile like that, felt irritation well up in her chest.

"Je~, Kotori-chin, didn't you say last night something like: 'I'm just going to Aiden's room to play some games and watch movies, don't misunderstand, okay?' But in the end, it seems like you played something much more fun," said Nia with a teasing smile that made Kotori's eye twitch.

"…" Kotori remained silent, trying to ignore her as she buried her face in Aiden's chest.

"Pervert~," Nia continued in a sing-song voice.

"Shut up," Kotori replied, glaring at her while trying to hide her embarrassment.

Aiden just chuckled, enjoying the interaction.

"You can't shut me up. What a lascivious girl," Nia finished, keeping her provocative smile.

In the end, Nia spent the entire time teasing Kotori while they freshened up in the bath, fueling Kotori's embarrassment and Aiden's amusement.

Avalon Residence - Dining Room.

[*]

A large variety of dishes were on the table.

Aiden watched calmly as Nia teased Kotori, who glared at her resentfully.

Kurumi observed everything silently, though she was swatting Tohka's hands away to prevent her from eating before everyone was gathered.

Yuzuru and Kaguya chatted with Yoshino and Yoshinon, while Origami helped Kurumi keep Tohka in check, who was desperately complaining that she was "so hungry."

Natsumi stood in the kitchen with Mukuro and Miku, but soon they joined the group, bringing more dishes with them.

"Finally! Let me go already, Kurumi, Origami!" Tohka complained, bound by magical chains filled with weakening spells.

Her irritation was obvious.

In her opinion, chaining her like a rabid dog was unnecessary.

"To stop you, who acts like a rabid dog when food is involved, this is more than necessary," Origami replied with total calm, making the chains disappear.

Although Tohka could have easily removed them if she wanted, she had decided to let herself be caught to avoid ruining the meal prematurely.

The rest of the group watched the scene, shaking their heads or laughing, already used to her antics.

Meanwhile, Aiden observed all this silently, smiling, already accustomed to it.

Tohka, once freed, wasted no time and stuffed her cheeks with food, wearing a huge smile of happiness.

"Who are you calling a rabid dog?!" Tohka protested upon hearing how Origami referred to her.

However, her attention soon shifted to the taste of the food.

"Delicious~! As always, Mukuro cooks so well," she exclaimed, completely absorbed in her plate.

Mukuro, though smiling, couldn't help but wince at the sight of how quickly the dishes were disappearing.

"I wonder if Tohka will gain weight once she gets a physical body with the [Spirit Piece]," Origami commented casually, though clearly aiming to annoy her.

Tohka froze, her hamburger steak halted just inches from her mouth.

But after a few seconds, she remembered something and shrugged as if she didn't care.

"There's magic for losing weight…" she responded indifferently, causing Origami to click her tongue.

Weight-loss magic was, in fact, quite simple to create.

Manipulating the body's vital energy (ki) or magic to accelerate metabolism, disintegrate fat, or convert it into magical or spiritual power (Reiryoku) was just a matter of combining the correct elements in a spell.

Boom, a slimming spell.

"What a wonderful spell. I wonder what mundane people would say if they knew about something like this," commented Natsumi, who was wearing her hair in twin tails that day while also enjoying the food.

"Speaking of the physical body with the [Spirit Pieces], how's that going? Is it almost done?" Kurumi asked, directing her gaze toward Aiden.

Aiden, who was eating calmly, looked up and thought for a moment.

"The [Spirit Pieces] should already be ready... I finished creating them yesterday. But they're still in the [King's Monument] absorbing spiritual power (Reiryoku). I want them to nurture enough to become very strong, just in case," he explained.

The [Spirit Pieces] would serve as the core of their physical bodies, so it was better to ensure they were as powerful as possible.

Kurumi nodded, understanding the logic, and continued eating as the conversation shifted to more casual topics.

"I wonder what will happen to the complete me when we have physical bodies," Kaguya reflected aloud.

"Doubt: I wonder as well..." added Yuzuru, sharing her twin's curiosity.

"Hmm... Kazamachi?" murmured Aiden, thoughtful.

Kazamachi was the complete form of <Divine Authority No.8>, which existed when Kaguya and Yuzuru fused into a single entity.

In the past, when they first fused, Kazamachi explained that her existence was divided into two parts because Aiden, at the time, was too weak to sustain her full physical projection.

In other words, Kazamachi was so powerful that Aiden couldn't summon her entirely.

However, now Aiden had enough power to bring her back at any time, though it wasn't necessary.

As long as Kaguya and Yuzuru existed, Kazamachi also existed, whether fused or separate.

"It's been a while since you fused to summon her," Aiden commented, still reflecting.

"Well, there came a point when the Phrases were so weak that this daughter of the hurricane was enough," Kaguya replied with a bit of arrogance, to which Yuzuru nodded.

It was true.

The Phrases had been a significant threat in the past, but over time they had become considerably weaker.

Although they were still numerous, the strongest of their crystalline race was no more than ultimate class in this world (Draconic Deus).

Therefore, Aiden hadn't needed to rely on even the [Demon Kings] in a long time.

While ultimate class wasn't exactly weak — they could destroy a country if left unchecked — they were still below the power of Aiden and the girls.

"Will something interesting happen when Kaguya and Yuzuru fuse again after receiving a [Queen] piece each? Kazamachi will be a [Super Queen]..." Miku expressed her thoughts.

Aiden and the others knew that someone would definitely love that name.

"[Super Queen], a fitting name for the complete form of this Empress of the Sky," declared Kaguya, excited.

With an approving smile, she gave Miku a thumbs-up, delighted with the idea.

"Won't she be the strongest among us, then?" Kotori asked, raising an eyebrow with interest.

"...Wasn't Kazamachi-san already the strongest firepower among us?" Yoshino, silent until then, dared to ask.

"Isn't Mukuro-san the strongest?" intervened Yoshinon, the puppet, with its usual enthusiasm.

"No, it's me!" exclaimed Tohka, indignant at the idea of anyone surpassing her.

Origami, unable to contain herself, let out a brief laugh. "Pffft~."

"O-R-I-G-A-M-I," protested Tohka, glaring at her furiously.

Aiden, taking control of the conversation, said while biting into toast:

"Setting aside who is the strongest, once you get your physical bodies, you should casually train with each other so you don't get rusty. Anyway, I plan to build a large training field next to the base in the dimensional gap."

Everyone nodded.

They didn't want to lose their skills just because they were living in peace.

After all, they had already spent more than 30 days in this world and had barely fought.

In fact, they hadn't had any battles at all.

The most physical effort they made was… well, in the bedroom with Aiden.

"…And if we get pregnant…? Wouldn't it be bad to train…?" Mukuro asked thoughtfully.

Yoshino and Tohka, the most innocent of the group, blushed intensely upon hearing her.

Aiden fell silent for a moment.

'…Why does it always end like this?' he thought.

Finally, he answered calmly:

"I don't think it would be easy for you to get pregnant. Long-lived races like ours don't produce offspring that easily. But if you were to get pregnant, I obviously wouldn't let you do anything dangerous for the baby."

"In other words, we just have to do it more often, much more often, until we succeed, right?" commented Origami without hesitation, with a mischievous smile.

"You're right," Miku agreed, as if it were the most logical conclusion in the world.

""Agreed,"" the others said in unison, giving Aiden predatory looks.

Even Yoshino, normally shy, was looking at him with a mix of innocence and determination.

Though she looked adorable in her loli form, in her adult form, she was surprisingly bold.

Aiden, though not scared, felt an intense pressure under those gazes.

End of chapter.

A/N:

Will Aiden die of dehydration?

Kazamachi is different from the original work… well, not too much, but yes, she's different.

Though here, in this fanfic, she'll be just as I've described her.

Anyway, thanks for reading~!
