At that moment Kai lowered himself into the chair at his new desk, the leather creaking slightly under his weight. He glanced around the room, taking in the scattered paperwork, the faint hum of the air conditioner, and the distant murmur of voices from the main station. It felt calm before the storm.

He could feel it, something isn't right and whatever was the reason they transferred him away he's going to come out victorious.

Again his gaze moved across the room and from the look of things he could tell the detectives in the station wasn't that much.

Perhaps it might just be the four of them.

Kai was still trying to get himself familiar with everything when Detective Harris approached, holding a thin but well-worn case file in his hands.

Immediately He placed it on the desk in front of Kai, his turning expression serious. 

"You must have observed it by now, we don't have enough hands here, and no time to be Slacking around."
