Chapitre 15: Omega Is So Noisy
Beep beep beep
The alarm went off waking up a teenage boy who was still asleep in his bed. His hand reached out to the alarm trying to turn it off. His body still felt too weak to get up, but if he didn't he would be late for school.
Not long after, there was a knock on the man's bedroom door.
"Fein! Fein wake up already at 6, you'll be late for school!" a woman shouted from behind his bedroom door.
"Yes ma!" Fein replied as he sat on his bed and ruffled his hair. He yawned softly as he was still sleepy. Fein rubbed her eyes then got off the bed to go to the bathroom near the kitchen.
In the kitchen, his mama was preparing breakfast, although they couldn't cook, they had ordered food before breakfast time.
"What's for breakfast this morning?" asked Fein as he approached his mama.
"Today we have grilled salmon for breakfast, I don't know why your father ordered that."
"Starting. now and then we eat fish to be healthy," replied Papa Fein who was busy with his laptop at the dining table.
"Hmn..." Fein replied by clearing his throat and walked into the bathroom.
After taking a shower, they had breakfast together in the kitchen. Fein ate the grilled salmon they had ordered. It was sweet and slightly salty because it was mixed with mayonnaise.
"How's school, is everything okay?" Fein's mom asked.
"Yes, everything is going well. Everything is good," Fein replied.
His father asked Fein if he found anything interesting at school. Given that Fein would soon be moving up to 12th grade.
"Interesting things? Nothing. Everything seems boring. There's too much noise in my class. My head hurts from it."
'Especially him,' Fein thought remembering Claire.
"Then have you found a mate, hmn?" asked Fein's father again.
Fein immediately turned to look at his father in surprise for asking such a question. "Mate? Me?"
"Yes, of course. Mate to be your partner, have you found one?"
"No need to rush to find a mate, you're still a school student," his mama said.
"So what? Fein is an adult, he's an Alpha. He needs someone to be his mate."
"Don't teach Fein what's not. He's still a tennager, a student. What if someone else's child gets pregnant because of him?"
"He just needs to wear protection, right Fein?"
Fein could only remain silent listening to his parents' backwards thinking. "I don't think much about mate. There's nothing interesting at school anyway, Omega is so noisy."
"That's how Omega is. They can't do anything but depend on the Alpha. It's lucky that Papa met your Mama who is a Beta, especially since she's not as noisy as the weak Omegas," Papa Fein said with a proud smile.
"Then I should also be with a Beta too like you?"
"Don't listen to your father, it's up to you. Your life is your choice, Fein. If you really prefer Omega, of course we will accept it."
The eighteen-year-old teenager could only sigh as he finished his breakfast. He watched his parents who were somewhat different from most couples.
"Kai can you help me put on my tie, my hands are a bit dirty," Fein's father asked his wife.
"You can wash your hands first and then put on your tie." Kai approached her husband and put on his tie. The husband smiled and kissed his wife's forehead.
For a moment Fein suddenly imagined that he was in his father's position, asking his wife for a tie in the future. However, for some reason his image was of Claire becoming his wife.
'Huh... Why did I imagine that annoying omega as my wife?!'
Fein who came to his senses immediately ruffled his own hair trying to erase the image.
"What's wrong with that kid?" Kai asked her husband.
"I don't know, he seems to be having a bit of a headache with school."
"He's your son, you should pay more attention to him too Felix," Kai complained.
"I pay attention to him, I know he's my son. That's it, it's getting late. Fein, let's go."
He nodded his head. "Yes, I'm leaving first, Mama!" Fein replied as he picked up his bag and followed his father to the car ahead.
"Yeah, just focus on your school, no need to listen to what your papa has to say about mate!"
At school, Fein walked towards his class and the first thing he saw was Claire who was chatting with his close friend, Fein remembered his name was Dior. The two of them were so familiarly chatting with each other that Fein felt that he and Claire never even had a casual conversation.
All their conversations were always filled with shouting and commotion. They had never once had a casual conversation like the others. Claire always spoke normally to others but always spoke harshly to him. At first Fein did not care much about it, but after a while he felt annoyed too.
"Ahahahaha... Seriously, but I saw it too, it's really cool. I admire him a lot too!" exclaimed Claire with a happy smile.
Fein noticed that from where he was sitting, he leaned back with both hands and silently watched Claire.
He recalled what his father had said about Omega. Fein sighed then chose to close his eyes ignoring all that.
On the other side, Claire glanced at Fein who had just arrived while chatting with Dior. He felt that he had been noticed earlier, but he tried to dismiss the feeling that Fein had been the one noticing him earlier.
'He's asleep, maybe it's just my feelings,' Claire thought.
"Claire, Claire!"
"Huh what?" replied Claire when he was called.
Dior said that someone was looking for him while pointing to a group of people standing in front of their classroom door.
The whole class looked at the door. They were the center of everyone's attention. "Is Claire here?" asked one of the people at the classroom door.
"I'm here, what's wrong?" asked Claire approaching them.
Fein who heard Claire's name being called immediately opened one his eye.
"After school, you will come with us to defeat the Alphas from other school. They're looking for a fight with us. Dior, you come with us too!"
"Yes! I'll definitely come, Claire are you too?" asked Dior while putting his arm around Claire's shoulder.
Claire was silent for a moment as he thought about his decision. All the student in the class were watching them, they looked scared because the gang that came to their class was the strongest gang in their school. A group of Alpha thugs in the school who loved to cause trouble.
'If I join, my damaged reputation can be restored. Beating up a few people isn't a problem, right? Dad won't know,' Claire thought at the time.
"So what do you think? You're going to come, right? You're not a loser who'll just run away, are you?"
"Heh, I'm not that weak to run away. Of course I'll go along to beat them up. Let's prove that we're more powerful than them," Claire replied confidently.
He would do it to restore his good name at school and become the Alpha that everyone knew on graduation day.
