Lucius was utterly astonished, witnessing his prized colossal meteor being effortlessly obliterated by a woman capable of unleashing a massive and super-destructive attack within mere seconds.
"That woman is a true monster," Lucius muttered, furrowing his brows as he felt the looming threat from this overwhelmingly powerful individual.
Celestia embraced Lucius from behind, her voice gentle as she sought to ease the tension swirling within her son's mind.
"Do not worry, my dear. That woman is named Emilia, an Admiral of our nation's navy. In short, she is not our enemy," she explained softly, her expression tender.
Hearing his mother's explanation, Lucius was somewhat puzzled. How could his mother know the full identity of a woman who was still tens of kilometers away out at sea?
Liora folded her arms, pressing her ample chest with both hands, and joined the conversation. "If the navy is involved, then a significant threat is likely approaching this island soon."
"The Frostfire Phoenix is an enticing allure. They even overlook the fact that the island they plan to invade is the primary residence of one of the strongest ancient Sorcerer Families," Isolde mused, stroking her chin as she contributed her thoughts.
Suddenly, the Frostfire Phoenix egg once again emitted a far brighter blue light than before. This time, it absorbed various sources of mana energy from the surrounding nature. In the next moment, the egg directly drew mana energy from Lucius.
"The egg disregards any boundaries and barriers, absorbing an enormous amount of my mana," Lucius exclaimed, quite taken aback by the presence of such a formidable force that could penetrate his passive defenses.
"Alright, if that's what you want, then I'll give you more," Lucius declared with fervent enthusiasm, stepping closer to the egg. "Here you go, little egg," he said, placing his right hand on the egg's surface, which trembled in anticipation.
Without holding back, Lucius released an overwhelming flow of mana into the egg. Instantly, the brilliant violet light was absorbed into the egg, akin to an incessant stream of water.
Small cracks began spreading across several surfaces of the egg. Gradually, as the egg continued to absorb an immense amount of mana, the cracks widened and the fissures expanded.
Finally, after several minutes, the sound of cracking grew louder, and ultimately, the giant egg shattered completely, emitting a chilling and scorching blue light simultaneously.
To counteract it, Lucius enveloped his entire body with a violet aura to dispel the approaching blue light waves. Meanwhile, for the women, Isolde created an energy barrier that dispersed upon contact.
In the next instant, the blue Frostfire began to spread over a vast area, burning and freezing everything it touched.
From the remnants of the eggshell, the silhouette of a gigantic bird emerged, slowly opening its eyes and glaring at Lucius with a piercing gaze.
"Daddy?!" the melodious voice of a young girl could be heard from the colossal bird before Lucius.
Utilizing the Aura of the Empyrean Dominator, Lucius dispelled the blue light obstructing his view.
"Wow—she's beautiful," Isolde murmured, awestruck by the clear sight of the Frostfire Phoenix before her.
Nearly the entire body of the Frostfire Phoenix was adorned with blazing pale blue flames, except for its feet and beak, which gleamed with bright gold. Its eyes were a slightly different shade of pale blue compared to the flames on its body.
Overall, the Frostfire Phoenix possessed a massively proportioned body, categorizing it as a giant bird.
With an endearing motion, the Phoenix tilted its head, gazing curiously at Lucius.
Driven by an inexplicable urge, Lucius gently caressed the fiery cheek of the Phoenix before him, his touch tender and deliberate. Strangely, Lucius felt neither scorching heat nor biting cold as his hand met the soft blue flames on the bird's cheek. Instead, he was enveloped by an unusual warmth, one that was profoundly soothing.
As Lucius's gentle touch graced the Phoenix, the bird closed its eyes, purring contentedly.
"There's no doubt about it—you are my Daddy!" exclaimed the Phoenix with glee, its voice melodious and playfully coquettish.
"Hello, my name is Lucius. What's yours?" Lucius introduced himself warmly, his curiosity piqued by the Phoenix's identity.
The Phoenix shook its head gently. "I do not have a name. Will Daddy give me one?" it asked hopefully, gazing at Lucius with an intense look.
Lucius paused, scratching his head thoughtfully as he pondered over potential names that might suit the magnificent creature before him. Observing the Phoenix's physical attributes, he deliberated carefully.
Finally, Lucius made his decision and announced his chosen name. "From now on, your name shall be: Cryselia Emberlyn."
As Lucius uttered the name, a massive surge of mana was drawn from his body, streaming into the Frostfire Phoenix. Instantly, a brilliant blue light enveloped the surroundings. Simultaneously, the Frostfire Phoenix underwent an evolution, its power escalating exponentially.
Its entire body expanded in size, the flames upon it blazed with even greater intensity and brilliance. Its form became sharper, with its beak and talons morphing into more superior and elegant shapes. Lush eyelashes grew around its enchanting blue eyes.
Harnessing its newfound abilities, Cryselia transformed into her inherent humanoid form.
A young woman with long, light blue hair, possessing a tall stature and an impeccably proportional physique, appeared before Lucius. She wore a unique gown, seemingly crafted from light blue flames. Undoubtedly, this woman was Cryselia in her humanoid form.
"Daddy, I absolutely love the name you gave me!" Cryselia exclaimed joyfully, leaping into Lucius's embrace.
She nestled her head against Lucius's broad, warm chest in a playful, affectionate manner.
"I expected nothing less; only your son could truly tame that Phoenix, Celes," Liora remarked with a satisfied smile, expressing her appreciation to Celestia beside her.
"Now I understand why you needed my son's direct intervention. We must not allow an ancient mythological being as superior as the frostfire Phoenix to fall into enemy hands," Celestia stated firmly, her expression serious. However, her demeanor softened as she observed the closeness between Lucius and Cryselia.
Eleonora answered the ringing phone in her pocket, receiving a call from Admiral Emilia. The Admiral promptly requested permission to meet directly with the Matriarch of the Duskbringer family.
Upon receiving such a request, Liora immediately agreed and arranged a meeting for the evening.
