Chapter 80: The Creation of Tayo
The faint golden glow of the morning sun filtered into Adam's room through the cracks in the curtains.
His once vibrant space now felt cold and lifeless, as though the room itself reflected the emptiness within him.
Standing in the center of the room, Adam surveyed his surroundings, his breathing shallow.
The bed, neatly made but untouched, seemed almost foreign, like a relic of a simpler time.
"I had to do it," he muttered to himself, his voice echoing faintly against the silence.
"If I hadn't, who knows? Maybe I would've lost even the ability to sleep." His expression hardened as his thoughts turned to the battles ahead.
"The threats I face are colossal. If I'm going to survive, I'll have to make tough decisions."
Adam stepped closer to the window, letting the warm sunlight wash over his face.
