Where am I?

She could hear voices, but it did not make sense. Her brain seemed too fuzzy to decipher what was going on around her.

Why does my head feel like it is floating in the air?

She could not focus on anything as images flashed before her eyes. It appeared like a jumble of puzzles that she could not piece together. She could not help but wonder if she was dreaming.

"Hey, you're awake." A soft voice spoke to her, speaking to her so gently that she felt like she was still in a dream.

Of course, she recognized his voice, but nothing seemed to click in her mind. Why could she not remember anything?

"Uhm!" She tried to speak, but her throat, mouth, and lips seemed too dry to make a sound. She cleared her throat, but she only managed a few incoherent words.

Gradually, she pried her eyes wide open, thinking of the last thing she could remember. Oh, the image of the sharks both frightened and excited her.
