Chapitre 29: Private Meeting With Mr Hunt

Alice woke up to the shrill sound of her phone vibrating on the bedside table. With a sigh, she reached for it, squinting at the screen. It was Marie, her assistant.

"Good morning, Marie," Alice greeted, her tone calm but distant.

"Good morning, Miss Wilson." Marie's voice was professional, but there was an edge of curiosity in it. "I have some news. Mr. Hunt has agreed to move forward with the business proposal."

Alice's eyes narrowed slightly. She sat up straighter in bed. "Agreed?" she echoed. "I thought we were still negotiating."

"Yes, that's what I thought too," Marie said, a hint of confusion in her voice. "But it seems he suddenly decided to finalize the partnership. We just need your confirmation in person at Hunt Enterprises."
