Chapitre 49: Chapter 49: Capturing Bai Muli Alive

While riding in the hovercar, Feng Mo had just opened his smart terminal when a message from Chu Yunjian popped up. Feng Mo looked at it and couldn't help but sneer—Bai Muli had some nerve. The guy was currently causing a scene at Yunjian Spaceport, mere hours after his brazen assault on FM001 Resource Planet. It seemed he really didn't fear Feng Mo's retaliation.

"Ai Er, engage the warp drive. Destination: Yunjian Spaceport!"

"Yes, Commander," Ai Er responded.

Storm Fleet entered synchronized warp travel, arriving at Yunjian Spaceport in less than two hours. As Feng Mo, Ai Er, and Feng Tianyi disembarked, a spaceport receptionist was already waiting for them.

Upon seeing Feng Mo, the receptionist stepped forward and bowed, saying, "Welcome, Viscount Feng Mo, to Yunjian Spaceport. The Lady instructed me to guide you from here."

"Thank you," Feng Mo acknowledged, following the receptionist. They took a magnetic levitation train to a lavish five-story building.

"Hidden Fragrance Pavilion—nice name," Feng Mo remarked as he read the sign.

"You're too kind, my lord. I'll leave you here. Bai Muli is currently enjoying himself in Heaven Suite One on the fourth floor, guarded by two Level Three gene-enhanced warriors," the receptionist informed them.

Feng Mo nodded and led Ai Er and Feng Tianyi up to the fourth floor. The building resembled an ancient brothel, with a central stage on the first floor where dancers performed. Heaven Suite One, the largest room, was located at the far end of the fourth floor. Two middle-aged men clad in military gear blocked their path. These were the seasoned ex-soldiers assigned to protect Bai Muli.

Ai Er and Feng Tianyi, also Level Three gene-enhanced warriors, were ready to deal with them. Feng Mo took advantage of the distraction and kicked open the suite door. Instantly, a T3 Black Obsidian combat mech enveloped his body, making him look like a menacing dark warrior.

He entered a lavish hall, from which the sounds of laughter and flirtation emanated. Feng Mo cursed under his breath, "This bastard really knows how to live it up."

Making his way around the hall, Feng Mo found Bai Muli, who was engaged in unspeakable acts on a massive bed. With a wry grin, Feng Mo's memory metal morphed into a war blade, which he used to tap Bai Muli's back.

"Stop messing around," Bai Muli complained, brushing off the tap and continuing his antics. Feng Mo tapped harder. Bai Muli froze, turning around to see a towering black-armored figure. His face turned pale, and he collapsed on the bed.

"Ah! Ah! Ah!"

The women on the bed screamed and quickly covered their mouths, terrified. Feng Mo gave them an approving nod, then brought down his war blade, severing Bai Muli's "manhood" in one swift motion. Blood splattered across the bed, and Bai Muli convulsed, drenched in sweat, his enhanced physique barely keeping him conscious through the pain.

"Well, well, Bai Second Young Master," Feng Mo mocked. "What happened? Did it hurt?"

With a sneer, Feng Mo sprayed a hemostatic agent onto Bai Muli's wound, staunching the bleeding. He grabbed him by the neck and hoisted him up.

When Feng Mo stepped out of the room, he saw that Ai Er and Feng Tianyi had already subdued Bai Muli's bodyguards, who lay limp on the ground. Seeing the guards struggling to get up, Feng Mo drew his laser gun and fired two shots, finishing them off.

Killing didn't faze Feng Mo. It was simply the price of serving a master like Bai Muli. The three of them, with Bai Muli in tow, left Hidden Fragrance Pavilion and returned to the spaceport by the same magnetic levitation train.

Once back on the command deck, Feng Mo addressed his lieutenant, Laika: "Order T3 Mantis to head to Dock Three and destroy Bai Muli's escort fleet. Once that's done, regroup and prepare to head to Windmill Star System."

The Snow Eagle Empire, a peripheral nation of the Starsea Human Federation, was the weakest among the Federation's seventeen great empires. It only had three star systems: Auckland, Snow Eagle, and Windmill.

The Bai family's headquarters was on Windmill, a Level Three life-sustaining planet entirely under their control, with nearly 20 billion citizens paying taxes to them.

While Feng Mo journeyed to Windmill, Gu Jun and Chu Yunjian were also hard at work. The Federation issued a formal directive, ordering the Bai family's fleet to assist with a classified military operation.

Meanwhile, Gu Jun announced that the Yunshan Fleet was heading to Chaos Star Sea for a top-secret mission, stationing the fleet in Windmill Star System and placing the local star gate under military control.

Gu Jun sat calmly in his captain's chair as a video call connected with an elderly man dressed in a noble's robe, who politely inquired, "General Gu, are you sure this mission is legitimate?"

It was no wonder the duke was skeptical—who seals off an entire star system for a "mission"?

Gu Jun's voice remained steady, "This is a classified Federation mission. Apologies for the inconvenience, but I've filed all necessary paperwork with the Snow Eagle parliament. You'll receive confirmation soon."

The duke scowled internally, fully aware that this was a show of force for Feng Mo, the genius starship designer. He had only asked to test the waters and see if there was room for negotiation. Seeing Gu Jun's resolve, he realized there wasn't. He had no choice but to maintain his dignity.

"General, the Yunshan Fleet's mission is understandable, but let's not push the Bai family too hard. Remember, their patriarch is a marquis," the duke warned.

The Bai family knew they were in the wrong—Bai Muli had unprovokedly attacked Feng Mo's planet. But what were a few defensive installations and civilian lives compared to the prestige of a noble house? A sincere apology and some compensation should suffice, yet Gu Jun was unmoved.

"Old Duke, any interference with this mission will be considered an act of war against the Federation," Gu Jun declared, his tone ice-cold. There was no room for negotiation.

When Feng Mo arrived at Yunshan Star System via the star gate, Yunshan Fleet was already waiting.

"Yes, yes, I understand, Uncle Gu," Feng Mo said, ending the call with a relieved sigh. Uncle Gu had just given him a stern lecture, reminding him to stay safe and to run if he couldn't win. Gu Jun may have appeared youthful, but h

e was in his sixties—a seasoned veteran disguised as a young man.
