[1st POV]
The following day, my thoughts were clearer and more sober.
There was no after-effect from the "Berserker Mode" that had overtaken me so strongly yesterday.
Honestly, it might have been better if I'd passed out right there beside Bats and his family rather than ending up like this...
I was sitting at the table where I'd been rough with Pam the day before.
She stood in front of me, leaning against the stove and sipping her coffee. She pierced me with her sly emerald eyes, occasionally glancing at Harley.
Harley was sitting in the same position as me, feeling similarly for different reasons.
We were stopped, heads resting on crossed arms on the table, uncertain what to do.
"How could this happen?!'
Harley exclaimed.
"How is this even possible?!"
I echoed.
"How could I miss the one chance Ivy might let me arrange a threesome?"
Harley said again.
"How could I not notice four of my colleagues sitting at the table, one of them my boss, and another my partner?"
I said again.
"Hehe"
Pam laughed, "You both have a rather amusing situation. Both funny and, at the same time, so similar and yet so different."
She was feeling great at that moment. I'd fully satisfied her and even leveled up my "Casanova" skill by two levels.
I also gained two levels in "Hand-to-Hand Combat," "Dinklage Style," and one level each in "Chuck Norris's Kick," "Martial Arts Mystery (Enhanced)," "Regeneration," "Fear Aura," "Accuracy," "Masochist," "Berserker Mode," and even five levels in "Talk no Jutsu."
Then I read:
[Hidden Quest Complete: Beat Down the Bat-Family!

Objective: Subdued all of the Bat-Family

+3% chance that the Joker won't want to kill you
+5 Strategy

...
[+1 Level Up]
[+200 Chakra]
[30 Control]
The relationship stats came to me in such amounts that it's almost scary to look at.
The Bat-family is "silent."
There has been no change in my relationship with them. They might still not realize what happened and are still "healing."
However, according to the system, my relationship with them neither worsened nor improved.
It seems I didn't beat them enough, especially Barbara.
Anyway, these stats are nice, but damn... I still have to go to the police station...
Now I have to call Renee and ride in the same car with her...
"How embarrassing..."
I whispered.
"Don't worry, you were great, darling!"
Pamela said and kissed me before heading off to work.
"Listen, Ivyy!"
Harley draped herself over my neck, "Maybe I still have a chance? Huh?"
"No! And anyway, it's time for me to go to work. So, entertain yourself here... alone."
"You're so cruel to Ivy..."
Harley pouted and went upstairs.
Meanwhile, I gathered the courage to call Renee so she could pick me up.
The funniest part was that after what happened, my relationship with her increased by +150...
She arrived to pick me up in about forty minutes.
I felt awkward and apologized to her for what happened yesterday. She smiled and teased me a few times on the way, but everything was fine.
Then, I entered the old Gotham City Academy building, which was assigned to us as a temporary precinct, and all the cops were clapping and smiling at me.
Gordon met us with a serious face, and before I even had a chance to apologize for the unfortunate incident, he just went on to tell Renee and me about the additional minor cases we'd be handling, how we'd both need to give a couple of lectures to middle and elementary school students about how we're good and the criminals are bad-bad...
In short, we were sent on this "sacred mission" because of our "charming" faces and the right approach to people.
Then Bullock interrogated me about the attack by the "League of Assassins" on me.
I told him the prepared story, leaving out a few details, and was then released.
That's it.
After that, my work routine began.
I also realized that I could choose a "Path of Development" for my chakra.
Currently, two paths appeal to me the most: Genjutsu and Fuinjutsu, both of which require fifty points to unlock.
The problem was that I initially wanted to choose Genjutsu.
It's very useful, especially for interrogations or intimidation, but the techniques are quite expensive in terms of points.
Fuinjutsu, on the other hand, has much cheaper techniques.
For example, the "Explosive Seal" technique costs only ten points that suited me well enough.
So, I decided to go down the Fuinjutsu path.
Now it was time to work, work, and work some more...
...
[3rd POV]
Wayne Manor.
A week later.
A young man was lying in his room with his wounds wrapped.
He had broken both arms, a torn leg, five broken ribs, four more fractured, a concussion, many bruises all over his body, and several teeth knocked out.
This man was Bruce Wayne.
He was officially on sick leave due to a car accident he had been involved in with his adopted son, Jason Todd.
Bruce sat nearby, gloomy and depressed. His mood had not changed for a week.
Physically, he was feeling better now with a couple of broken ribs, one with a fracture, a dislocated right arm that was currently in a sling, and several bruises.
Dick and Barbara sat in the two chairs next to each other. She had been away from home for a few days, and her father scolded her for it.
But during that time, she had three new teeth installed and had her ribs treated. The bruises were still there, but she was able to hide them well under her clothes.
Dick, to everyone's surprise, had suffered only fractures in two ribs and some bruises.
There were no knocked-out teeth.
There was also a woman there who looked about thirty years old, about average height, with short dark hair and brown eyes.
Alexa Bordeaux was Bruce Wayne's bodyguard. She had recently even started helping her... boss in his "crusade," after discovering his alter ego.
Nevertheless, she really wanted to help him more. But she was afraid to admit her secret desires and justified it all as excessive respect and loyalty to this man.
However, when she looked at the suffering person before her, not just physically but morally, her heart bled.
She wanted to do more for him but didn't know what she could offer or do. She didn't even recognize herself because of this.
An older man with a mustache and a receding hairline entered the room.
It was Alfred Pennyworth, the Wayne family's butler, and a family member and their meetings.
He brought tea and coffee for the weary people so they could gather their thoughts and begin the conversation.
"Thank you, Alfred."
Sasha nodded with a half-smile, taking a cup of coffee.
"You're welcome, Miss Bordeaux. Although I would recommend that you sleep rather than ruin your health with coffee. I hope at least you'll listen to the old man and do as I advise."
Dick and Bruce smiled slightly, as they were already used to hearing the familiar grumbling of the man who had replaced their father, grandfather, and uncle all in one.
"This Dinklage..."
Barbara said, "I got in trouble with my father because of him. That's not even the worst part—mom hasn't found out yet. It's good she's still in Washington."
"This bastard..."
Jason tried to say something, but Bruce stopped him.
"He did what he had to do."
"What?!"
To be continued...
