"Bang... bang..."
"Come on! This is not enough! Nowhere near enough!"
Time trickled by, second by second.
Every ten minutes, Kiyoshi was forced to leave the Netherworld Dimension.
Covered in blood and battered from head to toe, he immediately activated his eye technique, Onamuchi, once more.
He plunged back into the parallel dimension, fighting tirelessly, refusing to give up.
"Huff... huff…"
He didn't know how long had passed.
Finally, the blood-soaked Kiyoshi appeared back in his room.
Collapsing to the floor, he panted heavily.
"Maybe I overestimated myself, but... the results are undeniable."
Weakened and injured, there was no hint of disappointment or regret in his eyes.
On the contrary, his Sharingan, barely sustaining its three-tomoe form, glimmered with unbridled excitement, revealing an obsession bordering on madness.
"I can feel it… I'm advancing with every step."
Kiyoshi could clearly see himself becoming stronger.
The harmonious growth of ninjutsu, taijutsu, and genjutsu seemed more possible than ever.
Battling himself, driving his body to its limits, shattering those boundaries, and emerging renewed, elevated beyond his former self.
After his wood clone dispersed, it returned with invaluable experience and memories.
The effect was outstanding.
This method, though brutal, could easily turn fatal with the slightest miscalculation.
But it worked.
"If gods truly exist in this world…" Kiyoshi clenched his fists, his gaze laced with fierce ambition, "...then why shouldn't it be me?"
Others would have surely abandoned such an insane training plan.
But Kiyoshi had no intention of backing down.
His burning ambition would not allow it.
Using the last of his chakra, he reset his bones and, combined with his remarkable healing ability, managed to stabilize his condition further.
Exhausted and depleted, his chakra thoroughly drained and injuries severe, he finally collapsed, slipping into unconsciousness.
---
By dusk.
Tsunade, having had a few drinks, returned slightly tipsy to the inn with Shizune.
When they entered the room, they were met with the sight of Kiyoshi drenched in sweat, bruised and bloodied, sprawled out on the floor.
Tsunade's face turned pale as she froze in place.
"Kiyoshi—."
Shizune's face twisted with worry.
Without hesitation, she dropped Tonton and rushed to his side.
"Kiyoshi… so much blood…"
Tsunade's entire body weakened as she slumped down, uncontrollably trembling.
Her eyes were filled with a mixture of fear, worry, and an anger she could hardly contain, locking onto Kiyoshi's bloodied form.
"What… what in the world happened?"
"Kiyoshi, wake up! Please… wake up…"
Shizune held Kiyoshi's unconscious form, her face etched with deep concern, tears streaming down her cheeks.
"It's all my fault! I shouldn't have left you alone."
As a medical ninja, she urgently began examining his body.
Confirming he was in no immediate danger, she breathed a sigh of relief.
But upon discovering his internal organs had suffered various levels of damage.
If not for his extraordinary healing powers, he would already be hovering at death's edge.
A thread away from the grave.
"Shizune, how is he?"
Tsunade gritted her teeth.
She sat there, powerless.
Her body trembled uncontrollably.
She stared at Kiyoshi's young, bruised face.
Even with his exceptional self-healing, he hadn't recovered entirely.
It was painfully clear just how severe his injuries were.
Seeing her blood-stained student lying there, unable to lift a finger to help as his teacher, Tsunade felt a wave of self-loathing and helplessness.
She cursed her weakness, her inability to overcome her fear of blood.
Damn it!
"Lady Tsunade, he's sustained internal injuries, and he has multiple fractures all over his body.
These injuries look like they're from an extremely intense battle… and they're all blunt force trauma, likely from taijutsu."
Shizune meticulously examined each of Kiyoshi's injuries.
Ignoring Tsunade's fear of blood, she weaved hand seals with determination.
A soft, green light emerged from her palms.
She pressed them to Kiyoshi's chest, channeling healing chakra to his damaged organs.
Without looking up, she gritted her teeth and replied, "But he has an incredible healing factor. His body is slowly recovering."
Kiyoshi's injuries made her shiver in disbelief.
What kind of brutal battle could injure Kiyoshi, whose healing was on par, if not stronger, than that of a Jinchuriki?
And… Why did these injuries seem to resemble damage from the Mighty Fist technique?
Could it be…
"No, that's impossible."
Shizune's expression shifted as she quickly dismissed the thought.
She had been by Tsunade's side this whole time; it couldn't have been her.
Besides, Lady Tsunade would never harm Kiyoshi; she had no reason to.
"Who would do this? Who could be so cruel?"
Looking down at her beloved student lying there, Tsunade's body shook with fear and sorrow.
Her heart was struck by painful memories as she recalled her brother Nawaki's bloody, cold body cradled in her arms.
"Aaah… damn it, get up!!"
She clenched her fists tightly.
Tsunade's eyes shook.
Gradually, her expression turned resolute, radiating a fierce intensity.
Grinding her teeth, she ignored her fear of blood and stood up sharply.
"Who the hell did this to him?"
Her face was dark, filled with fury, exuding a chilling aura. "I won't let them get away with this!"
Though they hadn't been together for long.
Perhaps it was the Senju blood coursing through both their veins.
Or maybe it was his calm demeanor, remarkable talent, and unmatched intelligence, but Tsunade had come to see Kiyoshi as a younger brother.
"Shizune, let me handle this!"
"Lady Tsunade, you…" Shizune gasped, eyes shining with surprise as she instinctively moved aside.
"No need to worry about me."
Tsunade's face was fierce.
Her expression showed no excitement for having overcome her hemophobia.
She checked over Kiyoshi's injuries thoroughly.
But soon, her expression hardened further. "Mighty Fist technique? How… is that possible?"
It wasn't unheard of for people to be naturally strong.
But that type of strength was different from the Mighty Fist technique, which unleashed a vast amount of chakra in one blow.
As a seasoned medic with mastery of the Mighty Fist technique, Tsunade could tell with near certainty.
Most of Kiyoshi's injuries were indeed inflicted by that technique.
"Lady Tsunade, I also suspected it, but I wasn't sure…" Shizune said, noticing Tsunade's shocked expression.
"Who could've hurt him this badly?"
Tsunade's face clouded, her eyes full of doubt.
But as she continued treating Kiyoshi, she finally exhaled in relief. "Fortunately, though his organs were damaged, his healing is far beyond normal. He'll be okay."
"And it seems that before he lost consciousness, he treated himself as best he could."
