'Finally.' I sighed while descending from the helicopter.
"Anyways I'll see you girls later i guess."
"Yeah...see ya."
'So I have to go change for the assembly huh!'
I went to change my uniform however to my surprise there was a letter there.
"Meet me in my office-Chancellor sheppard"
It took me a few while but I eventually found his office.
*knock* *knock*
"Come in" Sheppard yelled from inside.
I opened the door and went inside the room.
"You are??"
"Kai...Kai Yuri."
"So you are Kai. I wanted to see you young man."
"Couldn't you wait for the assembly to be over then we talk? Also why don't I have my uniform. I know I said I hate the colour red but at least put a uniform there."
"The assembly is already done."
"Huh?"
"There is a reason why you came on that helicopter. All students in that helicopter are already students of our academy."
"Put your duel disk on young man. We are gonna have duel."
"A duel...not really in the mood for it."
"You have no choice or else I will expel you."
I sighed slightly.
"Sure then old man."
"Then follow me."
"Bet."
I followed him and reach the top of the academy.
"So this is where you want to duel. Not that I mind to be honest."
Sheppard put on his duel disk.
"Duel"

"So who goes first old man."
"I'll draw. I'll then start by activating pot of greed. This allows me to draw 2 card." Sheppard said.
"I then summon Cyber phoenix (1200/1600) in defense position. I set 3 cards face down and end my turn. Your move young man."
"Is that all Sheppard?"
"Huh? What do you mean?"
"You are still not the person I'm searching for." I said.
"What??"
"My move! I draw."
"I will start by activating harpie's feather dust causing your entire back row to be wipe."
"Damn you." Sheppard said as all his traps got destroyed.
"I then activate a spell card Numeron Network (For anyone wondering these are the forbidden version of those cards which are used for boss battles.)"
"Numeron network??" Sheppard said in a confused tone.
"Yeah...I then activate numeron network ability I can send a spell card from my deck or hand to graveyard. I send Numeron Calling"
"I then activate Numeron Network ability that allows me to four number tokens namely Number 1, Number 2, Number 3 and Number 4. Come forth my monsters. (2000/0)"
"Each has 2000 points of atk..." Sheppard said with a terrified look.
"Number 1 destroy his phoenix." The attack from Number 1 destroying cyber phoenix cause a lot of dust to rise up from the explosion.
"Damn you." Sheppard said.
"You see old man when my monster battle, they double their attack points."
"WHAT!!!"
"This means all my monsters have 4000 atk points now. Number 2 end this duel now."
Kai: [4000 lp]
Sheppard: [0 lp]
"I won old man."
"Yes welcome to duel academy Kai" Sheppard said.
"Your uniforms is in my office pick it up there. Also until you reach blue you aren't allowed to wear any other colour."
"Huh?" Great I have to wear red clothes now.
"I'll take my leave now." I said before leaving him there. I went to his office and pick my uniform and also a sort of device. I then went to the slifer dorm as there was a dinner going on.
*After a few minutes*
'So this is my dorm.' I murmured to myself.
I started searching for my room once I got there.
'Let me see is it this one uh....yeah it is.'
I opened the door only to see three people inside there.
"Sup." I said to them.
"Hey Sy its that guy from earlier."
"Yeah Jaden you are right."
"You guys know him."
"Kind of...anyways I am Jaden Yuki." The bold and energetic one said.
"This is Syrus and this is Chumley."
"Hey, I am Syrus." The little blue haired guy said.
"I am Chumley." The one in the bed said.
"I am Kai."
"Nice to meet you Kai." Jaden said while offering a handshake.
"Yeah nice to meet you too."
"So you are gonna be roommates with us."
"Yeah." I said while putting my bag down on my bed.
"Anyways you guys do whatever you were doing...sorry if I disturb you guys."
"No we weren't doing anything...i also just came here minutes before you."
"Yeah Chumley was explaining to us how the school system works." Syrus said in a depressing tone.
"Cheer up Sy. A uniform can't determine our rank."
"I hope so Ja."
I sat on my bed.
"You said your name was Jaden Yuki right? I heard that you defeated Crowler."
"Oh yeah that was me."
"Yeah you should have seen that duel Jaden was incredible." Syrus responded.
"Oh yeah it was nothing to be honest."
"Wait you duel Crowler." Chumley said in an astonished tone.
"Yeah." Jaden responded.
"So you must be strong then, Jaden." I said cutting Chumley in the process. To be honest I really didn't know what to say to him. I don't know if Crowler is strong or not.
"I guess yeah. What about you Kai, are you good at dueling?"
"I mean you can say so."
"Sweet then how about we duel right now huh??" Jaden said hyper-actively.
"Right now? No. In the future? Yes."
"Oh why not now?"
"I am tired and I am going to take a nap."
"Oh well me and Sy will then go to roam the school."
"Sure man." I said before lying on the bed.
They both left the room.
"You do know we are gonna have a welcome dinner right?" Chumley said.
"Yeah I know. Not interested tho."
"Can I have your food then."
"....sure."
*the next day*
"Oh man Kai, you should have been awake yesterday. Jaden was dueling an obelisk blue. His name was Chazz and there was also a very beautiful girl there. She was another obelisk student however she wasn't like Chazz. And-"
"Calm down Syrus. My god how can you talk so fast?"
"I am sorry."
"Yeah, so the only thing I heard was beautiful girl and Chazz."
"Yeah there was this beautiful girl from Obelisk. Her name was-"
"Let me guess...Alexis Rhodes?"
"Wait how do you know about her?"
"Already met her. Don't ask how."
"...ok. Uh...anyways like I was saying Jaden dueled that Chazz guy at the arena."
"Did he win?"
"No the duel was interrupted mid way due to security."
"I see..."
"Anyways today is our first day officially at this school. So how are you feeling?"
