Chapitre 31: Consider Your Granddaughter-In-law Dead

 Ashley found herself puking her guts out in the bathroom once she got home. The headache had not receded in the least bit. If anything, it had gotten worse.

 She shuffled out of the bathroom and immediately collapsed in the bed. The sudden influx of memories caused the scrunching of her brows.

 There were visions of events she had no memories of till now. Finally, after a torturous two hours of groaning and endless vomiting, the headache abated. She felt a bit lighter at this point.

 Suddenly, her phone rang. The frail woman picked up her phone and answered it before putting it to her ear. "Ash?" Ashley blinked, a bit ecstatic. Her mother hadn't called to talk to her since Nathaniel's heart attack. "Mom." Her voice was a bit weak but there was unconcealed excitement in it.
