"Yes, why?" another shouted.
"If you don't give us a reasonable answer today, don't blame us for getting rough!"
"We're here to tell you that he's not alone. He has us—his brothers. You can't just bully him!"
The men's voices burned with righteous fury as they looked at Ling Qingzhu.
Ling Qingzhu brushed her veil and, with a calm and icy tone, responded, "Are you done speaking?"
"Answer us!" Chen Fei demanded.

"You're divorced! No, he has already severed ties with you. You have no connection to him!"
No sooner had Chen Fei spoken these words than a powerful wave of energy slammed into him, sending him flying into the courtyard wall, where he coughed up blood.

They turned to Ling Qingzhu with blazing anger, as if their fury could set the air itself on fire.
"Ling Qingzhu, don't push us too far!" one yelled.
"Chen Fei only spoke the truth, and you dare attack him?" shouted another.
"If this is how you want it, we're not backing down!"
Knowing that a single one of them couldn't match her strength, they all charged forward together, launching their combined attacks at Ling Qingzhu.
