Chapitre 95: Conqueror's Haki

---

Island No. 1

The battle between Uchiha Akira and Rayleigh had reached a fever pitch.

From the very start, Rayleigh kept escalating his attacks, each strike more forceful than the last. Yet, no matter how much strength he poured into his punches—even to the point of his fists smoking—Akira seemed unaffected.

When struck, he would be sent flying but would immediately get back up, rushing to continue the fight. Akira often chose to meet Rayleigh's blows head-on, without even bothering to use Armament Haki for protection.

Several times, Rayleigh felt he might genuinely kill his opponent with a single punch, only for Akira to bounce back, unscathed and energetic.

"This vitality…" Rayleigh thought to himself, "It's on par with Kaido of the Beasts, the so-called strongest creature in the world."

Though Rayleigh was still robust for his age, he couldn't deny his advancing years. He found himself unwilling to continue the exhausting clash.

Never in his life had he imagined there would come a day when he'd grow too tired to keep hitting someone.

A thought flickered through his mind: he should convince Akira to give up. After all, Conqueror's Haki was an innate gift—it couldn't be learned.

What Akira referred to as "mental energy" might mimic the power of Conqueror's Haki, but resemblance wasn't reality.

Rayleigh launched another punch, only for Akira to meet it with his own tightly clenched fist.

Crackle—!

A black arc of lightning erupted around their fists.

"This is...!!"

Rayleigh's pupils contracted. As a master of Conqueror's Haki, he immediately recognized what this phenomenon signified.

"But... how is this possible?!"

Rayleigh infused his fist with even more Conqueror's Haki and struck again.

Crackle-crackle—!!

This time, the black lightning surged more vividly.

Boom—!

A shockwave rippled outward, causing the ground to tremble.

Watching from a distance, Boa Hancock widened her eyes in disbelief.

"This... this can't be true!"

"That's Conqueror's Haki!"

Rayleigh's final strike confirmed it—Akira had indeed learned Conqueror's Haki. Stunned, Rayleigh stopped attacking, his mind reeling.

Meanwhile, Akira closed his eyes, deeply attuning himself to the unique shift in his mental energy.

He was right—this was a transformation in the nature of mental energy, akin to how chakra could manifest as wind, fire, water, earth, lightning, yin, or yang.

Armament Haki stemmed from physical energy's transformation.

Observation Haki resulted from a blend of physical and mental energy.

Conqueror's Haki, however, was purely the transformation of mental energy.

The hardest part was crossing the threshold. But once through, everything fell into place. Akira's mental energy cascaded like dominoes, triggering a chain reaction of transformation.

"You... you've really learned Conqueror's Haki?" Rayleigh asked, still struggling to believe it.

Akira slowly opened his eyes, offering no response.

Hum—!!

Crack-crack—!!

The skies above abruptly darkened as black lightning arced around Akira's body. A terrifying wave of pressure radiated outward, centered on him.

The surrounding waters of the Sabaody Archipelago churned violently, massive waves crashing as if the island itself were trembling.

Thud-thud-thud!

Nearly everyone on the archipelago felt an overwhelming dread seeping into their hearts, collapsing into unconsciousness with foaming mouths.

Even on a Marine battleship approaching the island, nearly all aboard fainted.

"Garp-san, what's happening to them?!" Koby asked in a panic.

Garp, his expression grave, looked toward Sabaody.

"Another supreme conqueror has emerged..."

Island No. 26

"That... that's Conqueror's Haki?!"

"Who is this? So strong! Maybe the rumors of Red-Haired Shanks is true?!" Trafalgar Law gritted his teeth, struggling to resist the onslaught.

In the world of pirates, no one's Conqueror's Haki rivaled Shanks'. Other than him, who could possess such overwhelming power?

The sheer magnitude of the Haki brought all battles on the island to a halt. Even Kizaru and Shisui stopped their fight, both turning toward the source of the pressure.

"What... terrifying energy," Kizaru muttered, frowning as he glanced toward Island No. 1. "Who could it possibly be?"

Nearby, X Drake recognized the phenomenon instantly. "This... this is Conqueror's Haki! But at this level... it's monstrous."

On the sidelines, Urouge's usual grin turned stiff as he muttered, "This island's seen more action in one hour than I've witnessed in my entire life."

Hawkins, meanwhile, remained silent, but his mind raced with an unsettling suspicion.

The island fell into silence as Akira retracted his overwhelming aura, restoring calm to the area.

Turning to Rayleigh, Akira bowed slightly.

"Thank you, Rayleigh-san. Without your guidance, I wouldn't have mastered this so quickly."

Rayleigh waved a hand dismissively.

"It's not my doing—it's your talent. Honestly, if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I wouldn't have believed someone could actually learn Conqueror's Haki. You've broadened my horizons."

Smiling, Akira replied, "Even so, I owe you my thanks. If you ever need anything, please contact the Uchiha Security Company. I'll assist you without question."

Rayleigh chuckled. "In that case, I won't hesitate."

As the former first mate of the Pirate King, Rayleigh had seen his share of wonders, but Akira was something else entirely. That aura just now—it rivaled his.

What kind of change would this young man bring to the world?

Soon after, Akira and Hancock arrived at Island No. 24, where Kizaru and Shisui's battle had paused.

"Uchiha... Akira..." Kizaru muttered cautiously, his usual indifference replaced by wariness. Any thoughts of reclaiming pride had evaporated.

"Do you still wish to fight?" Akira asked as he approached.

Raising his hands in surrender, Kizaru replied without hesitation, "I surrender!"

From afar, the watching Supernovas were dumbfounded.

"That's Admiral Kizaru... Did he just surrender before the fight even started?"

"Tch, no point sticking around," Hawkins muttered. "If we don't leave now, we won't leave at all."

As the Uchiha departed, the Marines gathered cautiously around Kizaru.

"Admiral, are we just letting them go?" one brave soldier asked.

"What's the alternative?" Kizaru replied with a shrug. "You want to try stopping them yourself?"

Faced with the absurdity of their predicament, no one dared reply.
