Chapitre 2: Contract

Chapter-2

By looking into her eyes, it was scary and angry, yet her face somehow appeared childish. She seemed to be from ancient times. As she stood before us, her hair moved smoothly, illuminated by the moon's beauty….

Suddenly, her clothes changed; her body was clad in pure white robes with hints of yellow wrapping around her outer garments. As a gentle wind blew among us, she cast an ominous glance. For several minutes, the three of them paused, daring not to speak.

The sudden change in environment and the cold winds blowing signaled an impending war. Just as two of them were about to charge, a raised hand signaled them to wait.

After a moment of silence, a voice rang out:

"It's been a long time since we haven't seen you for thousands of years."

Of course, it was the Wind Lord.

"..."

No response came from the other side.

"To be honest, I thought you would have died long ago, in that multiverse. Who would have thought it was you? We didn't expect this. Be good and return to where you came from." The Wind Lord's words were laced with anger.

In a sweet, soft yet sharp voice, a girl replied, "Oh, that's bad, then. Now that I've escaped, the gods won't have time to sit freely in heaven. At least my age isn't as old as yours—800 years, you three hags present here."

It wasn't a compliment; it was meant to provoke them.

The three were stunned.

Then, with sudden anger, a loud voice replied,

"What do you mean we're hags? What are you planning this time, you tricky monster.?"

The first person, holding a sword, continued speaking.

Then ...

A sudden, loud thunderclap echoed in the sky, slow yet swift, signaling an impending thunderstorm.

Once again, they fell silent; the conversation had taken a bad turn again .

"It seems heaven's thunder will strike you soon," a voice said. It was the psychic person, who had just spoken up; talismans floated vigorously around him like sharp blades, ready to cut through anything in their path.

You can surely say it's going to be a fight now. And it happens, too.

"swoosh!"

Then a sharp talisman shot straight toward the fox-eared girl.

"Stop!"

"clang"

With lightning speed, a sword clashed with the talisman, knocking it away near the tree.

"Thud, thud, thud!"

A walking sound came from a nearby dark area, growing clear of some young man with booths walking as it approached.

"You guys need to be careful before taking any step further. It's a heaven order to stop for now, as it can cause high damage to the mortal region. The heavens command you to stop and return to heaven soon."

As the voice drew nearer, its owner emerged from the darkness. It was a person, but I couldn't discern their identity, of course. They were one of them.

With a smirk, the fox-eared girl said, "You guys are literally missing something, aren't you?"

"Huh?" exclaimed the first god.

"I think your mind is cracked," the second god said in a high, dizzy voice.

"What do you mean?" the third god inquired.

The fourth god remained silent.

The fox-eared girl smirked and looked directly at me.

"Ehh... uh, what?"

The other gods followed her gaze, and their eyes widened in shock. They were frozen, unable to utter a word.

Oh shit ,...w..wa. what shall I do now?

They exchanged glances, turned back to me, and were about to speak when...

"Whoosh!"

The fox-eared girl stepped in front of me, eyeing me as if she'd never seen a human like me before.

As she drew near, she leaned in close and whispered something in my ear.

"Huh"

I  snapped back to consciousness, unsure what she'd just whispered, but somehow...I felt something cold touching my right hand, and pain shot through my pinkie finger.

Just then, when I was in a daze, I suddenly noticed something on the fox-eared girl's back. A blue aura, like a spherical, sharp, frozen mist, emanated towards the gods, who were using their aura shields.

The girl with fox ears remained calm, her sharp teeth still biting my right pinkie finger, blood flowing from my hand. As I tried to speak, I realized I couldn't move or talk.

She also bit her left pinkie finger and then used her left hand to summon an ancient paper, which flew towards her. She grasped it; it was like a talisman paper, slightly larger than a palm.

Something was written on it, but I couldn't read the ancient text.

Just then she puts her pinkie finger blood drop on paper. After that she took my finger and did the same.

Meanwhile, the gods behind us struggled, their shields weakening. When the mist dissipated, I saw they were injured, one bleeding on the ground. They seemed drained of energy.

Suddenly, the fourth god, who arrived last, stood up and shouted, "You, human, get away from her!"

But I still couldn't move. The fox-eared girl replied, "He can't move. I've made contracts with him. If you harm or kill me, he'll also get hurt or killed, resulting in 1,000 deaths on your side."

"Y...y...you!" The fourth god grew angry, charging towards us with his sword.

Then,

"Swish!"

The Wind God intervened, blowing him back into the sky.

The other three gods followed, leaving us behind.

The problem seemed solved, but one issue remained but

What now ? ... Uhhhhh.... there's..one more problem left .....
