Chapitre 9: Chapter 6: Clash of Heroes and Villains

Time skip: The next day

Tatsuya sat in the back of the classroom, staring at his notebook. His pen hovered over the page, but the words he had written blurred as his thoughts wandered.

I've held my own so far, but relying on Incursio alone isn't enough. Brute strength only works when paired with foresight. If I don't think strategically, I'll end up predictable—and predictable means beatable.

The buzz of the classroom swirled around him, breaking through his reverie.

"So, what do you think he's got planned for us today?" Akali asked, lounging sideways in her chair.

Kai'Sa glanced up from her notes. "Whatever it is, it's bound to involve some kind of challenge. He likes pushing limits."

Evelynn smirked, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "Great. Another day of watching the boys flail around trying to keep up."

Ahri leaned back, her sharp gaze locked on Tatsuya. "Well, some of them might surprise you. Isn't that right, Tatsuya?"

He didn't look up but replied coolly, "Keep underestimating me. It makes things easier."

Before Ahri could retort, the door slammed open with a thunderous bang.

"I AM COMING THROUGH THE DOOR LIKE A NORMAL PERSON!"

All Might's voice filled the room, shaking the walls. The towering hero strode in wearing his iconic Silver Age costume, his grin radiating confidence.

Midoriya practically leapt out of his chair. "The stitching, the colors—the cape! It's perfect!"

"Midoriya, control yourself!" Iida barked, though his clenched fists betrayed his own excitement.

All Might's booming laugh echoed through the room. "Today's lesson, young heroes, is one of my favorites: a practical exercise! We're diving into the ultimate classic—heroes versus villains!"

--------------------------------------------------------------

The class buzzed with energy as they moved to the training site. The facility stretched out like a miniature city, complete with skyscrapers, debris-strewn streets, and shadowy alleyways.

"All right, here's the scenario," All Might began, his hands on his hips. "Villains will protect a weapon of mass destruction—your bomb. Heroes will infiltrate, neutralize the villains, and secure the bomb. Success requires teamwork, strategy, and execution! Teams will be… randomly assigned!"

The screen shuffled names:

Team Villains: Bakugo, Ahri, Evelynn.

Team Heroes: Midoriya, Tatsuya, Iida.

Outside, Tatsuya stood with calm focus as he activated Incursio, the crimson armor enveloping his body with a soft, humming sound as it synchronized with his thoughts. The powerful armor reacted immediately, its systems analyzing the environment and adjusting Tatsuya's strength, speed, and defensive capabilities based on the incoming threats.

"Alright," Tatsuya said, his voice steady. "Here's the strategy. Iida, you'll scout their positions and report back. Midoriya, you create a diversion—force Evelynn out of the shadows. I'll engage Bakugo directly."

Midoriya hesitated, looking towards Bakugo, whose explosive quirk could easily turn the tide of the battle. "But Kacchan—he's—"

Tatsuya cut him off, his tone firm. "I've fought people with brute force before. Bakugo's attacks are loud and predictable. I'll handle him, but you need to stick to the plan. Focus on the objective."

Midoriya swallowed nervously, but Tatsuya's confidence and calmness steadied him. He nodded. "Got it."

Tatsuya's mind raced as he analyzed his opponents:

Bakugo: His Explosion quirk was devastating. Bakugo relied on overwhelming force and aggressive tactics, making him predictable in his patterns of attack.

Evelynn: With her stealth-based quirk, Whisper, she'd likely avoid direct confrontation and strike from the shadows. Her ability to attack unseen made her dangerous in close quarters.

Ahri: A tactician at heart, Ahri would be looking to manipulate the situation in her favor with Orb of Deception, using her energy orb for both offense and misdirection. She was analytical and would be looking for weaknesses in their strategy.

--------------------------------------------------------------

Inside the villains' hideout, Bakugo stomped back and forth, his palms sparking with tiny explosions.

"We'll blow them all to pieces! Just stay outta my way!"

Evelynn lounged against the wall, her claws gleaming faintly in the dim light. "Typical brute force. Why not let me stalk them first? Pick them off one by one?"

Ahri, standing near the bomb, crossed her arms. "Tatsuya won't fall for that. He'll expect us to divide and conquer. We stick together. Bakugo creates chaos, Evelynn disrupts, and I hold them at the core."

"Tch. Whatever," Bakugo growled. "Just don't slow me down."

--------------------------------------------------------------

The heroes stepped into the building cautiously. Almost immediately, Evelynn's claws glinted in the dim light as she struck at Iida.

"You're fast, but not fast enough," she purred.

Before her claws could connect, Tatsuya's blade intercepted. Sparks flew as metal clashed against her claws.

"You're predictable," Tatsuya said, pushing her back.

Evelynn smirked, vanishing into the shadows. "Catch me if you can, armor boy."

Midoriya called out, "Stay close, Tatsuya. She's trying to isolate us!"

The building shook as a roar erupted from above.

"DIE!"

Bakugo descended like a meteor, his explosion ripping through the hallway. Tatsuya raised his shield just in time, the force sending him skidding back.

"Think you can hide behind that tin can forever?" Bakugo sneered, launching another barrage of blasts.

Tatsuya darted forward, his blade slashing through the air. Bakugo dodged, his gauntlets sparking with energy.

"You're strong," Tatsuya said, his voice calm, "but you're sloppy."

Bakugo wasted no time in charging forward, his palms glowing with a dangerous blue light. "DIE!" he roared, launching a barrage of explosions aimed directly at Tatsuya.

Tatsuya reacted instantly, using Neutote, his spear, to deflect the incoming blasts. The spear's long, sleek form was an extension of his body as he used its precision to redirect the blasts away from himself, its sharp edges glinting in the air.

"You're getting too predictable, Bakugo," Tatsuya said, his voice calm, the sound of the explosions reverberating in the background.

Bakugo grinned, his face twisted in excitement. "Then I'll make you regret that!" He detonated an explosion beneath his feet, launching himself like a missile toward Tatsuya.

Tatsuya's armor responded in real time, enhancing his reflexes and agility as he sidestepped the incoming missile-like Bakugo, his spear already aimed at his opponent. With a flick of his wrist, he swung Neutote in a calculated arc, grazing Bakugo's side.

"You're slowing down," Tatsuya remarked, his eyes locked on Bakugo's every movement. Incursio had already adapted to the explosion's power, strengthening its defenses against the heat and force of the blasts. Tatsuya's own physical strength had been boosted in tandem, making him quicker and more accurate.

Bakugo's eyes flashed with fury. "Shut up!" he barked, unleashing another massive explosion, the blast ripping through the air as he aimed for Tatsuya's torso.

Tatsuya braced for the impact, his spear held in a defensive stance. Neutote extended just in time to deflect the explosion, redirecting the shockwave away from his body. The force still pushed him back, but he dug his feet into the ground, maintaining his balance as Incursio continued to adapt, increasing the armor's resistance to the blast and reinforcing his stamina.

--------------------------------------------------------------

In the observation room, All Might leaned forward, his eyes locked on the monitors.

"Tatsuya's composure is impressive. He's analyzing Bakugo's attacks, not just reacting," All Might noted.

Momo nodded. "He's forcing Bakugo to expend energy while keeping himself steady. It's a battle of endurance now."

"But Evelynn's stealth adds complexity," Aizawa added. "If Tatsuya doesn't account for her, the tide could shift."

"Exactly," All Might agreed. "A hero doesn't just fight; they adapt and predict. Tatsuya's instincts are helping him anticipate Bakugo's next move. But he's underestimating Evelynn, and that could cost him."

--------------------------------------------------------------

Bakugo's frustration reached its peak. "WHY WON'T YOU FALL!?" he screamed, pushing himself harder. His hands ignited with more intensity than ever before, creating a series of rapidly detonating explosions. The air shimmered from the heat.

Tatsuya's eyes sharpened as he watched Bakugo's movements. He's not thinking clearly anymore. His quirk's effectiveness is tied to his emotional state. If I can get him to burn himself out…

Tatsuya lunged forward, his Incursio armor shifting its energy patterns to enhance his offensive capabilities. With a lightning-fast movement, he dodged another blast and closed the gap between them. He brought his blade down in a sweeping arc, aiming for Bakugo's midsection.

Bakugo barely managed to leap back, but Tatsuya's attack grazed his side, leaving a shallow cut. The Incursio armor hummed in satisfaction, having increased Tatsuya's strength just enough to pierce through Bakugo's defense.

Bakugo roared in frustration, launching himself with an explosion. Tatsuya sidestepped, countering with a calculated strike that grazed Bakugo's arm.

"You're starting to slow down," Tatsuya said, his voice steady.

Bakugo grinned, wild-eyed. "Then I'll go all out!"

He detonated an explosion beneath himself, propelling his body like a missile. Tatsuya braced, his shield absorbing the brunt of the impact.

The shockwave cracked the walls, but Tatsuya stood firm.

"You can't win with brute force alone," Tatsuya said, stepping forward.

"SHUT UP!" Bakugo bellowed, launching a massive explosion that shook the building.

Tatsuya closed the distance between them, using the force of Bakugo's missed explosion to propel himself forward. His spear was a blur as it sliced through the air, aimed straight for Bakugo's midsection. With a precise, calculated strike, Neutote struck against Bakugo's armor, sending a shock of energy through his opponent.

"You rely too much on explosive power," Tatsuya observed, his voice level. "Your quirk isn't a guarantee of victory."

Bakugo roared in frustration. "I'll show you what true power looks like!" he yelled, igniting a barrage of explosions all around him.

Tatsuya's eyes narrowed. He's becoming desperate—he's not thinking anymore. The armor's adaptive system recognized the change in Bakugo's behavior. Incursio adjusted again, increasing its offensive capabilities while also fine-tuning Tatsuya's speed. He dodged the explosions with ease, the armor's agility enhancing his every movement.

"Predictable," Tatsuya said before he launched himself at Bakugo with incredible speed, his spear aiming for a critical strike.

Bakugo's frustration was evident, his body covered in sweat as he panted heavily. "You won't get away with this!" he yelled, summoning another powerful explosion from his palms.

Tatsuya's expression didn't change. The fight had gone on long enough. He knew Bakugo's patterns—he was starting to overextend himself. Tatsuya adjusted Neutote, setting up for the final strike.

With a swift motion, Tatsuya lunged forward, using the Incursio armor's enhanced speed to his advantage. His spear moved with precision, cutting through the air as it aimed for Bakugo's unguarded side. The strike landed, knocking Bakugo off his feet and sending him crashing into the debris.

The buzzer rang, signaling the end of the battle. While Tatsuya was busy with Bakugo. Ilda decided to distract Evelynn with legendary hit and run tactic which frustrated her so much that the responsobilities assigned to her by Ahri became secondary which left the poor fox girl alone against Midoriya with One for All which allowed him to easily win against her and touch the bomb

--------------------------------------------------------------

As the students regrouped, All Might clapped his hands, his usual exuberance tempered with sincerity. "Incredible work, young heroes and villains! You all showed remarkable adaptability under pressure."

Tatsuya dismissed Incursio, his breath steady. Ahri approached, her usual smirk intact.

"Not bad," she said. "You've got some fight in you."

"Likewise," Tatsuya replied, meeting her gaze. "But this isn't over."

"Definitely not," she said, walking away with a flick of her tail.

In the observation room, All Might turned to Aizawa. "He's more than just his armor. Tatsuya's instincts and strategy are growing. He might just become something remarkable."

Aizawa nodded, his expression unreadable. "We'll see."

All Might beamed, turning back to the monitor. "Tatsuya's use of Incursio is impressive, but he also displayed incredible patience. He didn't rush into an attack when it wasn't wise. He thought about his actions first. But, that said, he was so focused on Bakugo, he missed Evelynn's impact on the environment. His armor is great, but he can't just rely on it."

Momo looked at All Might. "So the lesson here is... adaptability and attention to all threats?"

"Exactly," All Might said. "Heroes don't just fight one person—they fight the situation. Tatsuya did well, but he can't afford to tunnel vision. Just like any of you." His gaze swept the class. "Bakugo, your power is incredible, but it's clear you've got a lot to learn about managing that power. Focus, control—those are just as important as strength."

"Yeah, yeah," Bakugo muttered, crossing his arms. "I don't need lectures."

Midoriya grinned. "But we all learned something today. Tatsuya's patience, Bakugo's power—everything fits together if we pay attention."

Iida nodded. "We'll take today's lesson to heart. We need to be prepared for anything, just like Tatsuya was."

Tatsuya, standing slightly apart from the others, couldn't help but smirk. "As long as I don't get distracted by people like you," he muttered, mostly to himself.
