I stopped, quickly turning on my heel and sighing. "The children. They have been torturing our children. If we don't hurry—no, we have to hurry."

I spun back around and started running, this time with Khali running beside me with the same urgency. I linked my members. "They moved the children, but keep going and speed up. They are trying to destroy the evidence. Once y'all get close enough, you'll smell the kids' blood. Follow it."

"What? NO! I don't care about evidence, I want my daughter back, NOW!" Freya's voice was filled with panic and rage.

"And I want my son. This is an order. We are heading to get the children, so don't worry and stay focused. I will give you all the full story later, but for now, just follow your instinct, and if they die then so be it."
