Chapitre 2: Wu Clan's sympathy
As his mother's head fell, Fang Yuan thought inwardly as he was dropped on the floor along with his deceased mother's body.
"This has to be a world record."
Even though Fang Yuan was joking, he was still vigilant. He had stopped using his chakra as soon as the door opened and observed silently as the man called "Anbu" got close. There was another person with a similar mask near him too.
"I guess this is some kind of organization. I wonder what will they do to a newborn such as me."
"Tiger, confirm the child isn't a decoy." The man on the back said.
"Yes, captain"
The woman with pale yellow hair touched Fang Yuan's mother's head and started doing something. Fang Yuan suspected she was doing this world's soul search and focused chakra in his eyes.
"What a wondrous technique. She uses chakra similar to Qi path to directly explore the brain. Though it has a lot of room for development."
Soon, the mind search was over.
"The baby isn't a decoy, captain."
"Good job, you can finish him."
As the captain turned around, the woman nodded and started walking towards Fang Yuan. Fang Yuan narrowed his eyes at the cruelty of the masked people.
"I am not the one to judge but I guess they are a dark organization."
The woman picked up the baby. She was surprised a baby could be this beatiful and dropped her guard for a split second and suddenly, the baby's chakra enhanced hand held her head. The woman couldn't even react before her neck was broken with a swift movement from a fucking newborn.
"First kill in 8 minutes. I guess circumstances do indeed create villains"
As Fang Yuan said inwardly, he stopped using chakra and fell to the ground with the woman. Soon, the captain came back and quickly checked the surroundings and then he seemingly teleported and bent his knees to check on the woman.
"To not suspect a newborn, what a foolish mistake. Cool technique though."
Fang Yuan had picked up one of the woman's kunai secretly. He embued it with chakra and threw it at the man but suprisingly, the man parried instantly and attacked Fang Yuan. Fang Yuan wasn't a slacker himself, he actually never slacked off his entire life, a whole 8 minutes, and used chakra to jump back.
"What are you?" The man said with anger.
"I haven't been named yet." Fang Yuan said after thinking a little.
Then he used the transformation technique he had picked up earlier to transform into his adult self. The masked man's barely visible eyes widened.
"What is that jutsu? How did you deceive both of us... and even the mother!?"
The man thought Fang Yuan's adult self was the real him not only because he couldn't believe a baby had killed his team member, but also because Fang Yuan had long perfected the transformation technique into the level of familiar face with a glance.
"I guess familiar face with chakra would be... Chakra powered gu imitating familiar body. I didn't deceive anyone though" Fang Yuan said with upmost seriousness.
The man wondered why the name was so long for a split second while Fang Yuan focused chakra on his legs and shot forward with great speed. Yet the man was faster. He used Body Flicker jutsu to get away and threw multiple kunai.
"Ah, I get it now." Fang Yuan said.
Fang Yuan copied Body Flicker jutsu and dodged all the kunai with ease as he watched the man finish preparing another jutsu. Suddenly, pillars of wood started attacking Fang Yuan from left and right as he struggled to dodge.
"Wood path huh. The shapes and movements are crude but interesting considering he seems to be doing it instinctively."
Suddenly, a sharp wooden pillar appeared and perfectly went through a gap in the Anbu's defence of pillars, nailing him to the wall.
"How do you know wood release? Who the hell are yo.."
The man muttered as he took his final breath. Unbeknownst to him, Fang Yuan didn't know about neither chakra natures nor kekkei genkai but he could observe how the man molded his chakra to copy and even improve upon wood release. The fact that he had thousands of times more knowledge about wood path than even Hashirama, the progenitor of the wood path of this world helped him too.
"I guess wood path isn't very common here."
Fang Yuan thought after hearing the man's words as he walked towards him and held his head. He then used a recently improved version of the Inoichi clan's secret jutsu which he had only seen once and sent Yin chakra inside the man's head to read his memories. Due to his supreme-grandmaster attainment in Qi path, he of course didn't fail. Fang Yuan slowly took in all the information as he only spent 5 minutes reading the man's whole life.
"This mind search is incredible." Fang Yuan said in a good mood.
He was delighted this man in particular had been sent to assasinate him as the only thing he had to do to confirm his identity was to use wood release. This man was luckily the only wood release user in this current world. He could infiltrate Konoha without breaking a sweat. Then he decided,
"From today on, I am Yamato of the Hidden Leaf."

From Yamato's memories, Fang Yuan had learned about all the basic techniques in this world. Though he couldn't copy other people's jutsu from just memories, he could use all of Yamato's.
"This is great gains. Now I only have to copy some techniques and get more chakra. I am way more efficient with it than anyone this guy knew but it can still run out. Especially when creating clones."
Fang Yuan had already perfected the water clone technique, taking inspiration from the use of yin chakra, he could create clones who don't dissipate from attacks which he named, permanent qi path mixed with chakra producing sovereign clones with no drawback technique. Their only flaw was that they couldn't restore their chakra which he could fix in the future but right now, he had more urgent matters in his hand.
"This guy would have taken 6 days to go back to Konoha. Considering I already greatly surpass him in speed with body flicker jutsu, and my chakra pool that will enlarge, I should be able to reach there in 2 days. That means I have 3 days to get more chakra as I don't want to miss that event."
Fang Yuan made clones and spread them in all directions for 3 days. At the start, he could only create just over 10 clones of his technique but at the end of the 3 days, affected by both the unrivaled talent of the sovereign immortal body and the unnatural speed of chakra regeneration he had, he could create over a hundred of them. Most people couldn't get such an increase throughout their life yet Fang Yuan did it in 3 days.
"Ah, I have missed my dear village!" Fang Yuan said with a sinister grin.

Fang Yuan's main body arrived at the Konoha village with a clone posing as his teammate. He had already read both her, his mother's and his protector's mind, who unfortunately died for some reason after coming back, so he could perfectly pose as the two Anbu. He entered the village in search of prey. He needed them as Yamato would be sent away to another mission basically right away.
Fang Yuan wanted to be exposed to as many techniques as possible. The best place he could think for that was war but unfortunately there wasn't any way ongoing currently so the second best place was chunin exams where numerous ninja from all villages would participate offering a wide range of techniques. So Fang Yuan was planning to join the chunin exams which would be held the next day. He was searching for a genin ninja without any uncopyable powers like some dojutsu to pose as. Yamato didn't know much about genins so he had to search himself. He wanted to get a list of the participants of the chunin exams as this was taking too long when he detected the jinchuriki of the village.
Fang Yuan wanted to take a look at the monstrous chakra himself as he got closer to peek while concealing his presence further and suddenly, he heard a voice.
"Yamato, what are you doing peeking at my students?" The irritating man smiled with his singular eye which was his single face feature.
"Kakashi-senpai, I just wanted to see the students of the famous Copy Ninja" said Fang Yuan.
"I didn't know you were interested in youngsters Yamato, mind showing them some of your jutsu. They will be attending the chunin exams the next day. You will broaden their horizons." Kakashi said with a hint of a threat. Kakashi couldn't detect Fang Yuan's disguise even with his sharingan but his veteran instincts rung as if he was facing Satan himself.
"You know we should hide wood release right."
"Naruto will find out about it anyways. An earlier interaction would surely help."
Fang Yuan was impressed and had to agree as he couldn't risk taking Kakashi on in the middle of the village, yet. He involuntarily had to show the kids the might of wood release while spouting some nonsense about the supposed "Will of Fire" this dumbass Yamato believed in. Kakashi, on the other hand, couldn't shake of this feeling of terror deep in his heart but had to bury it after seeing the "undeniable proof" of wood release.
Then came the night. After Kakashi did a not-so heartfelt motivation speech, the genin dispersed. At noon, Fang Yuan found Sakura's home and sneaked in. He killed her and her family silently. He read their minds and made 3 clones. 1 for Sakura, 2 for her parents.
"From today on, I am Haruno Sakura!" Fang Yuan exclaimed with a heart-warming fake smile on her face.
