Chapitre 40: Sleep with Me

Cocooned in my blanket, I wake up with my limbs tangled and barely able to move. I don't normally cocoon myself like this, especially to the point where it is too tight. With a huff, I manage to shimmy myself out of the blankets.

It is still early, and the views remain the same from my window- buildings and gardens blanketed in snow. The ground is white, and the skies are greyish-white.

I shiver a little. Maybe I cocooned myself because it was cold? But I am used to the cold.

Sliding out of bed, my feet hit the ground, the chilled floor locking my spine. Today, I am meeting with that awful Prince. My body betrays me with a fluttering in my stomach while my mind remains sharp, reminding me of his blackmail. This was not a date.
