Chapitre 23: Anything

Soren's head lowered, and we stared at each other. Heat prickled along my skin. Beads of sweat dampened the back of my neck and desire bloomed in my lower belly the longer I stared at the muscular Were before me. His chest rose and fell, breathing deeply as his hands fisted by his sides.

The veins in his neck were prominent, straining against skin like he was struggling to contain himself. "Soren," my intended whisper turned into a whimper.

The heated tension snapped, and whatever restraint Soren had splintered.

His loud steps swallowed the distance between us, and his pupils dilated as he stalked forward. I pressed my back against the door, allowing him to crowd my space. His heat, the rumbling of his chest, and his steely, cinnamon scent coated my skin, dizzying my mind.
