At fifty meters beneath the murky sea, the atmosphere became extremely tense. Gentle waves swept around, and both Ives and Biscuit stared at the giant shark without being able to move. Before this dive, they knew there was a significant threat below, but when the danger appeared before them, their common sense to run away seemed to have disappeared, replaced by a feeling of fear that made their bodies freeze.
When the shark saw two prey appear before its eyes, a violent tremor immediately shook the seabed. Ives felt this pressure clearly; even Biscuit now looked pale and anxious.
Without warning, the shadow approached at high speed. It had a colossal body, predatory eyes, and deadly sharp teeth. A monster was the only word he could describe it. Just looking at it would make ordinary people pee their pants. With its abnormal body size, it was no wonder it could pounce on ordinary people whole, even tear them into pieces with a few flicks.
'Oh no, we have to get out of here!' Biscuit grabbed Ives' arm, screaming in her heart.
Realizing the situation's urgency, Ives nodded as he tightened his grip on his machete. Unable to speak, Ives used hand signals that, fortunately, Biscuit understood.
The Megalodon came at a surprising speed, creating a huge wave that hit them. Ives and Biscuit were shaken and lost their balance. When they tried to stabilize their bodies, the Megalodon didn't give them time to rest.
Gritting his teeth, Ives silently apologized and kicked Biscuit away. It was a close call; if his reflexes had been slower, Biscuit would have been bitten to death!
Swimming away, Ives swung his machete straight at the giant shark's rear fin.
Knowing what Ives was going to do, Biscuit was clearly worried. He wanted to draw the shark's attention so she could escape.
Realizing the situation's urgency, she needed to develop a new strategy! Biscuit continued to move, following the instructions Ives had given her earlier. But she still maintained her distance to avoid getting too far apart.
Feeling something slashing its fins, the giant shark looked even angrier. Its fins flapped with terrifying force, and its mouth opened wide!
Ives kept swimming upward with all his might. If he stopped now, the shark would surely tear him apart.
Feeling the shark getting closer, he gritted his teeth and dove to the side.
The shark continued to swim forward before it finally slowed down and turned toward him. Ives gasped, but he could vaguely see the shadow of Biscuit riding and holding the shark's snout.
Perhaps because of its enormous size, the shark did not feel something was landing on its head.
'She's targeting its eyes!' At a glance, Ives could immediately read the girl's intentions.
Swallowing his saliva, Ives was willing to take the gamble. He swam one way toward the shark. Even in the water, he could feel sweat dripping down his palms.
When the distance between him and the shark was less than five meters, suddenly, a hand grabbed the shark's right eye. Not only that, Biscuit stuck her entire arm into its eye socket!
"Growls!" The shark screamed in pain, and its body reflexively dived.
Ives, who was ready, immediately grabbed the shark's lower fin and held on as if his life was at stake. Tightening his grip, he immediately stabbed the sharp machete into the shark's stomach and ripped it to the topmost part that he could reach with his hands.
The vicious shark's movements began to weaken, but Biscuit, who didn't want to mess around, stabbed her whole left arm into the shark's left eye socket.
With those three brutal attacks, the giant shark let out its final groan before slowly sinking into the dark abyss.
Releasing the shark, Ives and Biscuit swam shoulder to shoulder to the sea's surface. With the last of their strength, they reached the shore, gasping for breath. The two looked at each other in relief.
