Chapitre 31: Commotion in the cell

Chloe's POV

Immediately the words got out of the guard's mouth, as if on cue, my stomach growled. 

"It is happening... My stomach is rejecting the food." I was familiar with the feeling. 

I gagged and Liam quickly came to my aid, holding my hand. 

"Are you okay?" He asked me and I nodded trying to hold back the vomit. 

I didn't want to disappoint him after he had made such efforts just to ensure I ate. 

"I am okay, don't worry." I told him assuringly but he didn't seem convinced. However he nodded. 

Then, our attention went to the guard who had brought the bad news. 

"What is happening that can't wait until she is done eating?" Liam snapped at the guard. 

"Forgive me, Beta. It is actually urgent." The guard said. 

"So, what exactly is the problem?" I spoke up when it seemed I had been able to hold back the vomit.
