Facing the pawnshop before him, Detective Rob ultimately decided not to give up on continuing the surveillance, nor to interfere with other agencies' operations. He simply extended the initially scheduled surveillance time slightly. After all, the surveillance team had costs too, and for the sake of catching this big fish, he could only tearfully ask them to keep monitoring.
After Detective Rob left, the DEA agents also noticed something unusual. Detective Rob's surveillance team claimed to be a young married couple who had rented the house, but the DEA noticed that apart from going out for exercise in the morning and evening, they hardly ever left the house. For young people, that was the biggest anomaly.
Upon receiving the information, DEA Agent Torsten Marcus made the same judgment as Detective Rob, that there were other agencies eyeing this big fish as well.
