I hated that course,
Yet I joined that class.
Not for my own sake,
But because of someone else in that class.
I cracked jokes,
Became a talk of laughter.
Not because I wanted it,
But to to see her laugh and shine brighter.
While everyone looked at the white board,
Where the teacher used to teach.
My eyes were set on her,
Though I knew she was out of my reach.
I had headache and pain,
Yet I made excuses to see her.
Before her, my life was bland,
But her presence made it sweeter.
