I watched with concealed frustration as Ramsey told his grandfather several times that he wasn't interested in making me his Personal Assistant. I didn't miss the irritation in his eyes when I first entered his office.

One thing I knew about Ramsey is if his mind was made up about something, nothing on earth would make him change it.

"Pop-pop!" I called his grandfather fondly, placing my hand on his and batting my eyelids shyly. "Can you allow me to talk to Ramsey? I'll just tell him why I need to intern here and we would have to wait for him to think it over and make his choice."

I felt him hesitate, so I pressed further in a conspiratorial tone. "I know how to make him do what I want, don't worry,"

Finally, he nodded and excused himself, leaving us alone in the office. As soon as he was gone, Ramsey turned to me and said coldly.
