Looking at the rewards, Chris was elated. Even though he knew beforehand that he would get a good harvest for his first time blackmailing an important female character, he still lost his composure when he looked at the rewards.
His hard work and patience finally amounted to something. He knew that he couldn't touch other important characters being a nobody at first, which is why he got the radioactive spider to bite Gwen.
With his AI, it was easy to hack into Oscorp on the day that Gwen was at the building; he won't get into the details.
Maybe Gwen was not destined to become Spider-woman in this universe, or maybe he just sped up the process. Either way, he did this to increase Gwen's significance to get better rewards when he blackmailed her like today.
The results did not disappoint him at all; the reward was more than enough for him.
Observation Haki or Kenbunshoku Haki is a power from One Piece that allows its wielders the power of the sixth sense. With this sixth sense, they can gauge the presence, strength, and emotions of others; with enough mastery, it could allow users to perceive the future.
The Haki he received from the system allows him to sense two hundred meters around him; it could reach close to three hundred meters if he really tried hard and strained himself.
Unfortunately, he does not have future sight, but fortunately, he could train on his own without the help of the system to improve his ability.
International Genetics Corporation, better known as Ingen, is a billion-dollar bioengineering start-up company that began with performing research to recreate extinct animals, with the aim to clone those animals and expose them in a theme park.
It grew quickly and had many subsidiaries, including Ingen Security Services, Ingen Pharmaceuticals, Ingen Medical Equipment, etc.
The rise of Ingen was nothing short of a miracle. Naturally, Chris also paid attention to this company, not because of its rapidly expanding influence but because he remembered this company from his previous life.
Not exactly from his previous life, but from movies he watched in his previous life.
This was the villainous company from the 'Jurassic Park' franchise.
It made him a bit helpless, since giving him this company would put him in the eyes of the major players in the MCU, including Hydra/Shield and other criminal organizations.
There were many other dangerous organizations in this world that are not explicitly mentioned in the MCU movies he watched in his previous life.
To be fair, most of them never clashed with the Avengers, and some of them operate on a small scale; it would be impossible to mention every single one of them in the movies when they do not play any roles.
As a person who does not respect people's privacy, Chris knew all these things. He was not too worried, as he had the system by his side. What he needed after this was a way to defend himself.
His physical fitness was great, as he always exercised. But it was not enough, as he exercised casually and did not go hard just because he knew that he was in a dangerous world. He didn't even learn any martial art; before the system, he decided to just live a normal life away from all the Marvel shenanigans.
Unlike some fanfiction protagonists who claim to want to be low-key but doing everything that makes them suspicious.
Chris did not even fully exploit his future knowledge to become superrich. His net worth before getting his rewards was around five million dollars, which he got from stocks and knowing the general trend of the economy.
Even with that, he did not try to make too much money.

Looking at the missions, he had a bit of a headache; thankfully, there are no punishments or anything like that.
But the system was actually crazy by asking him to blackmail the ancient one.
Yes. The one and only bald sorcerer supreme.
He was supposed to blackmail her; isn't this courting death?
But he drooled when he thought about the rewards he could get from doing such a thing. Right now, as he was, he would 100% fail to blackmail her. So right now was out of the question.
One thing he was sure of was that the so-called blackmail was not just referring to sexual things. For example, if he threatened the life of Nebula and forced Gamora to tell him the location of the soul gem, it would count as successful blackmail.
He could also blackmail the same person multiple times and get rewards. But the rewards become smaller and smaller each time. So Gwen should be exploited as much as possible and milk out her value.

He decided to send Gwen the so-called evidence, including information about SHIELD, HYDRA, and other shady organizations. He also sent proof of Shield and HYDRA snooping around trying to obtain her DNA and also try to uncover her identity.
He didn't expose the fact that HYDRA was in Shield.
This amount of information was enough to scare her. He didn't want my connection with her to be known by anyone, as he was sure that he would be in dangerous situations in the future. He didn't want to implicate her.
Chris decided not to visit his company for now, as he was in no rush.

Gwen was listless as she went all the way to her rental house, thinking if she had made the right decision.
She had been feeling uneasy since that meeting and was wondering why Chris would want to do such a thing. He was handsome, smart, and well off; it wouldn't be hard for him to get any girl he desired.
She didn't think that she was some unique beauty who could make him go to such lengths just to sleep with her; Gwen was self-aware. While she was indeed pretty, it was not to the level of an actress; heck, there have been girls way better than her who were attracted to him.
After entering her rental house, she saw a message from him; it was the 'evidence' of the people he was talking about.
But Gwen didn't immediately click on the attachment, as the end of the message made her feel suffocated and smile bitterly.
She was visiting him tomorrow, and Gwen had no doubt about what was going to happen. But she had to remain strong and endure for herself and her family.
"Let me see if you were telling the truth."
She muttered to herself after taking a deep breath and clicking on the attachment.
