Tate's expression was deadly as his fist zoomed to Chris face, although his health status had dropped to 35%, causing his body to suffer a terrible pain, he would not lose to a charlatan like Chris.

He smashed his fist on Chris' face.

The impact caused Chris to only stagger backwards. There was no sign of injury nor was Chris feeling any pain. The force only sent him three steps backwards and that was all.
It was as if he was hit by nothing. This made Chris smile brightly. He thought he was done for, but he forgot he had the grade three energy core, which enhances his body to a great extent.
There was no way Tate stupid punch would be able to affect him, it just wasn't powerful enough.
Chris cheeks raised to his eyes as he faced Tate.
"Did you think that little attack of yours can affect me again!"
Tate was flabbergasted on his spot. His breath was still heavy, even heavier than before because he had to force himself to move, only for Chris to remain standing like he did nothing
He couldn't believe Chris was able to withstand his attack. That shouldn't be possible given he had attacked Chris once and it almost brought Chris to the ground.
He saw the looks on Chris' face in the first round, there was no way Chris was actually pretending to be hurt.
He gets it that Chris might've held back on his speed on the first round, but reducing his physical strength was another story, unless Chris had suddenly evolved in terms of his earlier strength and speed as well.
The only way that could happen was if Chris was putting on a different enhancement uniform.
Tate's eyes widened more when he came to the conclusion.
That was definitely the case. Sir Connor had probably changed Chris' energy core just so Chris would be able to defeat him.
Tate's breath started vibrating, this time it wasn't that he was afraid of losing, he was simply angry.
Chris cheeks grew seeing the surprised expression plastered on Tate's face.
"Your attacks are meaningless against me. You would....."
Before Chris could finish his words, Tate was already standing close to him, and it stunned him to the bone.

Tate's expression was ugly. He made a mistake by showing Sir Connor his glowing fist this morning, but he wouldn't be able to turn back time to correct his mistakes, it was done already!
He should've known that Sir Connor wouldn't want to play fair, but it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter at all!! He would win! No matter what!
Tate eyebrows were almost covering his eyes when he looked at Chris. Chris' heart jumped violently in fear. Tate's deadly glare froze him on his spot. He couldn't move a single muscle on his body as he watched Tate cover the distance.
Tate zoomed his fist to Chris face and roared.
"It doesn't matter if you put on AZ grade two energy core or a grade three core energy. It can be the grade four energy core and I would still beat you. I would still win!!!"
Chris' breath vibrated then, seeing Tate knew about his energy core. He felt ashamed and at the same time insulted, which caused an outrage inside him.
What makes Tate think he can win, even if he was putting on the AZ Grade four energy core.
Chris' expression darkened and his fist hardened in an instant.
He took his stance and roared.
"Don't belittle me, coward!!"

Chris managed to block Tate's attack with his right arm. He looked at Tate and roared.
"I am the champion here!!!"
He wanted to attack when Tate suddenly appeared inches away from him. Before Chris could do anything, Tate moved his fist to smash Chris on his jaws.

Tate delivered his super punch on Chris' jaws. The impact caused Chris to stagger backwards. Although it didn't affect him like before, he could feel a sudden pain in his throat region.
It seemed the grade three core was reaching its maximum already. Soon, his uniform would be breaking into pieces.
He must end Tate now! Or he would face severe consequences.
Chris faced Tate's direction, only to see Tate was already standing close to him again.

Tate seized the opportunity he created, and launched his other fist to Chris' jaws again, before Chris could comprehend the motion. Tate fist slammed him on his jaws.

The impact caused Chris to stagger backwards, this time he almost lost his balance. Tate had targeted the same place again, and the effect was twice more painful than Chris had felt earlier.
Chris' expression darkened completely.

Tate was making him look like a fool! All he had to do was to hit Tate once. He just has to get a single hit on Tate and it would all be over!
Chris gained his balanced and face Tate immediately. Tate was already rushing to him, not wanting to give Chris any breathing space.
Chris moved to Tate too, he wouldn't let Tate come to him.
'The brat is sneaky. I will attack him first!'
He immediately threw his fist to Tate's face, due to his uniform being overloading, Chris' attacks suddenly became faster than before. His fist immediately appeared inches away from Tate forehead.
Tate's eyes opened widely as he stared at the incoming fist, but he immediately broke free from his shock state.
He must not get hit!
Tate goes under the fist and delivers his glowing fist on Chris' chest.

Tate rains countless attacks on Chris' body. It pushed Chris to the wall and Tate moved his fist to smash Chris on the head.

He smashed his fist to Chris face. Chris was flabbergasted on his spot, but he knew he had to do something, he had to stop Tate or this would be his end!

He said as he squeezed Tate's hands and pulled Tate closer to himself with one move, before Tate could comprehend the motion, Chris delivered a powerful punch on Tate's chest.
Tate coughed out a mouthful of blood.
