"Good morning," Layla replied, surprised to see him already in a bathrobe.

"I used the other washroom," Lucius explained, extending his hand to her. When Layla took it, he drew her close, pressing her gently against him. His nose brushed against her cheek in a slow, affectionate gesture.

Layla closed her eyes, biting her lip as the warmth of his body enveloped her, a growing comfort in his embrace that hadn't been there before.

Lucius noticed her relaxation, sensing the shift in her ease around him. Grazing his lips along her jawline, he left a trail of tender kisses before moving down to her neck.

"It's a pleasure to start the morning like this," he murmured against her skin, his voice hushed and intimate. His hands wandered gently along her back, soothing her with each soft caress.
