Chapitre 93: Chapter 24: A Looming Threat

The group arrived at New Haven just as the last light of the day was fading, the sky tinged with deep hues of purple and orange. Despite the beautiful sunset, tension weighed heavily on them. The encounter with the massive flying mutant had shaken them, and George knew they had to act quickly to protect the community.

As they pulled into the mansion's courtyard, they immediately radioed Red Base to warn them of what they had seen.

"Red Base, this is George. We just had a run-in with something big. Some kind of flying mutant with a twenty-foot wingspan. Watch the skies, this thing's massive, and it could easily carry off a person or a vehicle."

There was a brief crackle of static before Thomas, stationed at Red Base, responded. "Copy that, George. You're not the only ones. We spotted one of those monsters flying near Hillsborough earlier today. Looks like we've got more than one of them to deal with."
