“Wait for me to sort this out, Rosa,” he said before his lips landed on my temple and stood out to leave.

Sort this out?

What was there to sort out?

Was he gonna ask Lillian’s permission to let him be with me, too?

Was he the type of man who loved to juggle two women simultaneously?

That was disgusting of him if it was true.

My body seemed to move by itself as I stood up and went to see what he was doing after leaving my room.

Much to my disappointment, I saw him knocking on Lillian’s door and was greeted enthusiastically by the beautiful witch before he entered, and the door was locked.

I turned back to my room and took a shower, quickly getting into bed, wanting to erase all the memories that had happened today.

If I had let him mark me, would everything be different?

Would he reject Lillian for me, or would he reject me for her?

A bitter smile graced my lips as I knew the answer to my own question.
