No… I couldn’t… I wouldn’t let Theo speak up for me. I didn’t need his help.
It was already hard enough for she-wolves to have a voice in pack’s matters other than the usual Luna duties. If I let Theo defend me this time, I might not have the chance to prove them wrong.
It would just show everyone involved in this meeting that I really needed a male to rely on, and it would be more difficult for she-wolves to have a say in the future.
I would ultimately lose my right to speak, and it wasn’t what I wanted or needed. I had to fight for my right and couldn’t let Theo interfere!
“Theo, no,” I told him firmly.
To my alarm, he ignored me and still snatched the microphone in front of me.
