Now, prior to this, if Duke hadn't told me all about his adventure on that particular trip and how she had tried to seduce him, knowing me, I might actually be worried. If he hadn't told me he had tossed that particular coat in the trash at the airport before coming home to me because he didn't want to smell like her, I would have been over thinking everything right now and wondering what might and might not have happened between them.

However, this is why communication matters a lot between couples. I wish some of all those comics I read online would learn from my marriage with Duke and try better to communicate to avoid some very unnecessary misunderstanding.

Because right now, I'm sure what Alicia was planning was to sow seeds of doubt in my heart. Knowing her, she must have believed in her head that Duke would not tell me about meeting her in that state.

And that's where she went wrong.
