Chapitre 97: 97. Something Mr Grand left behind

Turns out for the first time, I'm sitting with my aunt at the same table in a party organized by her. Wow, who would have thought.

"Duke, was it? I hope it's okay if I call you by name." She says as wine is being poured into the glass in front of both of us.

"Actually it is not. I'd appreciate it if you addressed me as Mr Grand." I don't know if I should call Duke petty or perfect. I mean he's being picky about everything and yet I like the way he's acting, showing them that he doesn't require any form of closeness with both mother and daughter.

"I see." I can see my aunt trying her best to keep that smile on her face. "Well then, Mr Grand, I'm glad you could make it to my party, although you missed a lot since you both came late. Alicia has told me so much about you and it made me quite curious to meet you."

"Has your curiosity been satisfied?" Duke asks.
