Chapitre 5: Little Sperms Of Mine

Yan's POV:

I walked downstairs and immediately snorted when I spotted my dad; he stood there with a frown plastered on his face and to think I was the reason for his frown.

"Dad, you are here... I am so happy to see you, but I have an urgent meeting and need to leave. I will…"

"Yan!!" he scolded, and I sighed.

"Dave," I scolded back and walked past him.

"I got my friend to publish the news about your engagement to the young Miss of the West family; it was published, but you took it down even before a soul could see it. Have you lost it?" He roared out, and I raised a brow. Wait, he was angry about that? I thought he was probably angry that I declined a deal worth billions just because the man had a yellow tie on a red shirt.

"Oh, about that... How come I am getting engaged?" I sat on the couch as he sat opposite me.

"You agreed to the engagement."

"No, old man, I agreed to meet with the lady, which I did. So what engagement?"

I stood up hastily; I didn't want to have this conversation with him. "Let's talk another time; we will definitely talk about my engagement because I am getting engaged soon," I explained, and I took a few steps towards the door before I stopped.

"I am not getting married to that woman you chose, though."

Then I got to my car and drove out, he insisted I got married when I was twenty years old and I did, all because he wanted to form an alliance with the Grenaud family, he had to make me marry a woman I couldnt stand.

Now that we are divorced, he still wants me to get married to the young Miss of the West family just because he needs the alliance?

Screw that, I will marry Ava.

I parked the car by the parking lot as I found my team waiting for me. Keren, my assistant in both personal and business life, hurried to me with the files. "Sir, they are here already," she explained from behind while I walked in the direction of the conference hall.

"It's a small business; they already have a website for it and have been working online for the past two years. This year they plan to work offline.

"What do they need?" I cut her short before she filled my ears with all those boring biographies.

"A warehouse, finance professor, and tax"

We arrived at the conference hall, and the two men present stood up and had their gazes on the ground.

How could I work with people who couldn't even look me in the eyes?

"So you didn't make any profit from your online business in two years, and you think you will make a profit if the business now has a warehouse?" I asked in a mocking tone.

"Well, you have five minutes. Why should I invest in the business?"

One of them stood up and started the presentation. I sighed and turned to Kernen, who had a nervous look. How could she book me an appointment with such people?

Her phone rang as she received a call, then she walked to me and whispered.

"Sir, some people came to see you, and they are causing a fuss."

I quickly stood up; it was better to go meet people who had the guts to create a fuss than to listen to this profitless business.

"Your business won't generate any profit; renew your team. Get fresh minds, and when you have a better business proposal, reach out to Keren. Now, if you will excuse me," I explained and walked out of the conference hall and buttoned my suit.

Everyone wants to start a business without a good business proposal; I wonder how they wish to do that.

I took the elevator, which led me downstairs, and I walked to the lodge of my company when the receptionist hurried and pointed at three kids who sat on the couch.

"They insisted that they had to see you today; I am sorry if I distracted you, sir." She apologized, and I nodded. I didn't know the other kids, but the one with a frown was the kid I saw at Ava's place.

I walked to them, and they all hurried to me, "Yes?"

The little girl whispered something to the other guy before she stared at me with her eyes sore from tears.

"Okay, what's happening here? Did I impregnate your mom and abandon her?" I snorted; that was the common trend these days.

"Yes," the girl answered, and I raised a brow. Was she also kidding?

"What's your name?" I asked.

"Lily Wood," she replied; they all had similar features and looked just like triplets.

"Where is your aunt?" I asked, and they had confused looks.

"I mean, Ava, where is she?" How could they show up here alone? Did Ava send them to me?

"She is our mom," the other guy with rough brown hair blurted, and I was confused—how come Ava had kids—and three, for that matter.

"Who is your dad?" I questioned with a frown, I was going to kill that man who dared impregnate my woman.

"You," the serious-looking kid finally said a word, but he said "you," as in "me?"

"Hey!" I signaled for the receptionist to walk forward, which she did.

"Get me water," I ordered, and she left. I suddenly got thirsty.

I sat on the couch and placed my left leg on the right before I took a proper look at the kids.

Now that I took a proper look, they indeed looked like the younger me. But that still couldn't confirm that they were my kids; it could have just been as a result of mixed sperm... What nonsense was I blurting?

"How old are you?"

"Six," Lily replied, and now I was even thirstier. Fortunately,  the receptionist arrived with the bottle of sealed water. I drank the entire contents of the container before I stared at the kids with wide eyes.

"You are my kids? I am your dad?" I asked, still not able to believe what was happening. How could Ava not have told me that she was pregnant? And for triplets?

"Okay, here is the thing, little sperm of mine... I just want your mother; I am not interested in you for now."
