Chapitre 24: Revelations

Yvette could barely contain her excitement as a bright smile played on her lips . She had just hung up on the phone after talking to Zeke who told her he would be arriving in the evening of the following day .

She couldn't contain her happiness of getting to see him after a week of being away.

She started humming mindlessly as she moved through the quiet house, her busy hands straightening cushion and dusting shelves.

Mr Lawrence had taken a week off work to tend to her sick grandchild and leaving her with the rare chance of preparing the home herself and also enjoy her quiet time.

As she continued with the chores, she heared the doorbell and ran to answer even though she wasn't expecting any guests.

She accepted the box and thanked the security man . It was the mail that had arrived.
