Chapitre 42: A new hope

"My head hurts so much. Where is this?"

With a bloody head, his thoughts were clustered within. Shrugging in pain, the chosen rose from the dusty ground. His arms trembled from fatigue, but he relentlessly pursued on.

The battle before was still mushy in his memories. He couldn't recollect what exactly happened, nor could he understand the weight upon his shoulders.

Strutting his feet further, Daniel continued with purpose. He couldn't see the gates which held him at bay, and his arms were the only guidance. Caressing continuously through the dungeon, he forcibly dragged his injured body further.

"I need to survive, I need to. I still haven't found my siblings, and it's too early to give up. Maybe Julia is scolding John by now, entreating him to eat less before he eats us whole, hahaha. "
