The newly substituted Charlie Monroe, standing 203 cm, was a power forward with outstanding athletic abilities, had almost no offensive skills, yet was very active defensively.

Both were power forwards and focal training targets for the coaching staff. While their talents were quite ordinary, they had been the best two power forwards selected from last season's ninth-grade players.
