Rose stood higher than Asher. She was on the stairs and he was on the floor.
"You look radiant. Beautiful and soul-stirring as always but also heart breaking too."
Rose took that as a compliment.
He kissed her cheek and extended his palm. Rose put her palm in his and followed his lead.
Not surprisingly, her housemates were all absent. It was like they all had coincidentally some work to do.
Cora was already waiting for them in the car. She wore a light pink crochet dress.
"Now, you look like a young girl. Like me, when I was your age. Just as cute."
Rose grinned. And she sat beside her.
Asher was driving.
"You look gorgeous, Aunt Cora."
She smiled wide.
"I made this dress. I was working on it for five days. I figured why not try it?"
She then neared Rose.
"It has anti-spill charm too. I don't want someone to spoil this beautiful baby of mine. I worked really hard on it."
I was sad yesterday because of my book stats. Then I felt, rather than that, I'll focus on making myself better and thanking my readers who are supporting me.
And I started crocheting a reversible flower doll.
