VERNON LIFTED his hand and caught it between his index and middle finger.

"That was dangerous… Ulric" He said, turning his head slightly to meet his attacker. 

"Oh, my… I didn't think I could harm you, buddy," He teased as he walked closer to him. Ulric threw his arm over Vernon's shoulders as he smiled at him.

"Aren't you supposed to be like their shadow assassin that lurks in the night?" he asked air, quoting the 'lurks'.

Ulric pulled away from him and sighed. "I heard what happened to the lady, so I came around to check on it. Was that what you came here for also?"
